To be fair, not every writer will be able to consistently provide both high output and high quality 100% of the time. The problem is, Pat's native lack of drive and minuscule creativity means he fails at both; if I recall correctly, he hasn't even broken 100 pages in the two years he has been writing his Tiny Tim fanfic, most of which he spent at home with nothing to do due to the Big 'Rona . See the following table for a better (but somewhat subjective) idea of what I'm talking about:
| High Output | Medium output | Low output |
Great quality | Terry Pratchett, Jules Verne, Tolkien | Bernard Cornwell, Edgar Allan Poe | William Gibson, R. L. Stevenson |
Average quality | Stephen King, George R. R. Martin* | Chuck Palahniuk, Arthur Conan Doyle | Dan Brown, J. K. Rowling |
Terrible quality | Sidney Sheldon, Chuck Tingle | L. Ron Hubbard, Stephany Meyer | The Milwaukee Nigletnapper |
* Yes, he hasn't finished ASOIAF, and probably never will. Because he keeps getting sidetracked writing to a billion other projects and, like Fatrick, being a fat lazy fuck in general.
