A shocking leaked video shows conservative political commentator Steven Crowder angrily berating his pregnant wife, Hilary, nearly two years before he announced they were ending their marriage.

The three-minute, 30-second-long video captured on a Ring Camera in June 2021 was first reported on by Yashar Ali via a Substack publication on Thursday, offering new insight into the couple's allegedly tumultuous relationship.

In the video, Crowder reprimanded Hilary after she requested to take their one car to run errands as it would keep him housebound.

"Because if you refuse to do wifely things, then I will go pick up the groceries," he said, trying to persuade her to take an Uber instead.

If she were to leave with their only vehicle, he argued that it wouldn't be fair. "I can't go to the gym. I can't go to my parents," he explained. "Hilary, just think of how boxed in you made me."

She then offered to pick up what he needed, adding "I'll be back when I'm back." The far-right podcaster wasn't having it, stating that wasn't sufficient because his life "is set to the second."

"The only way out of it is discipline and respect," he said.

"I love you," she said. "But Steven, your abuse is sick."

Hilary emphasized that she was committed to their marriage, noting that she would let it go and just needed some space after their dispute.

Crowder suggested that if she is as committed as she claimed to be, then she should put on gloves to give their dogs the medicine she feared was toxic for pregnant women and walk their dogs.

He allegedly later screamed at Hilary off camera, yelling, "I will f--- you up," leading her to flee their home.

I want to know what kind of trad larp he thought he was doing in the video by saying shit like "wifely" and "discipline" over and over. You get the feeling watching it that he felt like he owned Hilary, doubly so because she was carrying "his" (not "their") children. I can't wrap my head around why he didn't just take her himself. He could've gone got groceries, dropped her off, then went to do his shit. Like other have said he could have got an Uber himself. This behavior is in line with what Dave Landau said on the Michael Malice podcast, where Steven Crowder started screaming "I fucking own you" to Dave among other douchebag like behavior. Dave from all interviews and everything seems like a real chill and relaxed guy, so he is very believable to me. I don't know the full context of this video and the situation leading up to this but everyone, including people who worked with Steven are taking her side, that says a lot.

As for the analysis; I'm always a little suspect of seeing one such interaction. After all, almost always one of the people involved posted it. More likely one of the people planned it. So one person is being themselves at home, and the other person is playing to an audience. Like her saying she loves him and offering to get him anything he wants may be something she never offers, or always offers but never does. Take the amber heard/ johnny depp thing, where he seemed violent and she played the innocent and said "nothing happened", but the full clip in the court case showed her laughing and giggling as she ran away with her camera after she got the clip she wanted.

Though even with that said, I'm not buying it in this case. He doesn't even get up from his chair to try and lecture his pregnant wife on discipline. He sounds more like he's throwing around big words to try and get what he wants.

The release of the video seems to be in response to the comments he's made recently. She has every right to defend herself against his comments and the video wasn't released prior to them being made.
