The media with lolis are also often geared towards teens, who will want to see a girl their age in sexy manner. I was reading an article decades ago, that was trying to make sense of Japanese sex crime stats. According to them, the Japanese Government has in place certain "safety valves" in Japanese society. One is the Japanese Soaplands, which is the equivalent of the Western Thai Massage parlors. Where often schoolgirls work to make some money to buy the phone or bag they want.
