A shocking leaked video shows conservative political commentator Steven Crowder angrily berating his pregnant wife, Hilary, nearly two years before he announced they were ending their marriage.

The three-minute, 30-second-long video captured on a Ring Camera in June 2021 was first reported on by Yashar Ali via a Substack publication on Thursday, offering new insight into the couple's allegedly tumultuous relationship.

In the video, Crowder reprimanded Hilary after she requested to take their one car to run errands as it would keep him housebound.

"Because if you refuse to do wifely things, then I will go pick up the groceries," he said, trying to persuade her to take an Uber instead.

If she were to leave with their only vehicle, he argued that it wouldn't be fair. "I can't go to the gym. I can't go to my parents," he explained. "Hilary, just think of how boxed in you made me."

She then offered to pick up what he needed, adding "I'll be back when I'm back." The far-right podcaster wasn't having it, stating that wasn't sufficient because his life "is set to the second."

"The only way out of it is discipline and respect," he said.

"I love you," she said. "But Steven, your abuse is sick."

Hilary emphasized that she was committed to their marriage, noting that she would let it go and just needed some space after their dispute.

Crowder suggested that if she is as committed as she claimed to be, then she should put on gloves to give their dogs the medicine she feared was toxic for pregnant women and walk their dogs.

He allegedly later screamed at Hilary off camera, yelling, "I will f--- you up," leading her to flee their home.

We've all had our moments we wish we could take back and if someone filmed us during them, it might be unflattering, but unless she has done something so catastrophic to the stability of your marriage or family (and it doesn't sound like that's the case here), there is zero excuse to be talking to your heavily pregnant wife like this. It's not like he's got the boss from Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation who is evilly forcing him to work through the birth of his child or something; he's self-employed, has an army of staff, and can very easily either pay for someone to pick up the stupid groceries or get off his ass and get them himself (if he has time to go to the gym or visit his parents, he has time to get groceries... he is literally doing nothing; he's sitting outside smoking a cigar).

I completely agree with this. Frankly, the modern attitude towards marriage is gay and retarded because it stresses all the good times and not the work needed to make it work. That's why I think so many people are just not fit to be married: they don't have the mentality of finding someone to spend the rest of their life with and making sure that they stay on the same page when it comes to their core values and beliefs, all while raising a family. Even if you have disagreements (which there will be many), being able to communicate them in a rational and considerate way goes a long way to solving them instead of the passive-aggressive bullshit a lot of people pull to win arguments. Physical attraction is important, but that's the key to a successful marriage: commonality in core beliefs and communication. Most people don't have either with their spouse/lover, which really has lowered my opinion of how intelligent and rational most people are.
