A shocking leaked video shows conservative political commentator Steven Crowder angrily berating his pregnant wife, Hilary, nearly two years before he announced they were ending their marriage.

The three-minute, 30-second-long video captured on a Ring Camera in June 2021 was first reported on by Yashar Ali via a Substack publication on Thursday, offering new insight into the couple's allegedly tumultuous relationship.

In the video, Crowder reprimanded Hilary after she requested to take their one car to run errands as it would keep him housebound.

"Because if you refuse to do wifely things, then I will go pick up the groceries," he said, trying to persuade her to take an Uber instead.

If she were to leave with their only vehicle, he argued that it wouldn't be fair. "I can't go to the gym. I can't go to my parents," he explained. "Hilary, just think of how boxed in you made me."

She then offered to pick up what he needed, adding "I'll be back when I'm back." The far-right podcaster wasn't having it, stating that wasn't sufficient because his life "is set to the second."

"The only way out of it is discipline and respect," he said.

"I love you," she said. "But Steven, your abuse is sick."

Hilary emphasized that she was committed to their marriage, noting that she would let it go and just needed some space after their dispute.

Crowder suggested that if she is as committed as she claimed to be, then she should put on gloves to give their dogs the medicine she feared was toxic for pregnant women and walk their dogs.

He allegedly later screamed at Hilary off camera, yelling, "I will f--- you up," leading her to flee their home.

I'm not a Chowder fan but the timing of this just after he exposed the Daily Wire of their contract shenanigans (which is a major no-no to those types) is highly suspect.
Not saying he can't be a dick who wouldn't alienate his wife, but could she have been pushed to move forward with a divorce to hurt him? Absolutely.

Honestly, if this was planned, it has way more to do with trying to hit his rumble exclusive deal. News cycle is really fast and the DW story is already too old by now.

It also makes sense for rumble since it'd look pretty bad for rumble if his value suddenly plummets right after giving him a contract.

Super ironic though, is that this exact issue is exactly why the DW contract was so bad lol. It had a blanket penalty for any kind of fluctuation in views/engagement. This example is Crowder's own fault, but it also meant that any random hit piece from the media could have potentially triggered the penalty, which kinda makes the whole "alternative media" project be kinda pointless.

As conservative as I lean, I hate that conservatives overreact when approached by things that are slightly against their favor. Crowder didnt even name DW at the time, he just got a shitty contract IMMEDIATELY after he just finished another shitty contract that he was grandfathered into with the Blaze. I am not defending Crowder, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt because we've seen sooo many cases of men blamed for ooc situations in which people automatically believes that the woman is always right and she's always the victim when the husband has one moment when he explodes. I get wanting context, and I wouldn't call him abusive without it, but a lot of the defenses don't really hold up. For example, if this was unusually aggressive behavior because of heart medication, there wouldn't be this multi year history of his anger issues while he is both on and off the medication.
As far as the PMSing women meme, this is a big deal. This is not a healthy relationship, and if your crazy girlfriend is acting the way Crowder is acting here, you should seriously reconsider the relationship. Just because some people are shitty does not give you a right to be shitty as well.
