RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

I really wonder how badly the homophobic rwby memes damaged the brand and what they were thinking even adding that scene in. Kinda feels like lets go brandon for trans and gey shit.

The fact homophobic Ruby is probably the most interesting thing to talk about to people who aren't bootlickers says so much about the quality of this series. This could exist in a better show, and it'd just be a funny hee hee haa haa offensive meme we could have for a while, but we'd still have normal discussion until the meme got stale when people use it disrupt actual conversation about the worthwhile story of RWBY.

The thing is, this meme is more worthwhile than the actual conversation around this stories' actual characters, so this meme should just exist forever really. Ruby's legacy will be she became a homophobe and hated race mixing because her sister replaced her with a cat girl GF, and that's probably vastly more interesting than talking about these characters in earnest within what the writers actually intended to write.

Maybe RT has someone who just hated what this show became and decided to pitch the idea Ruby's breakdown (by showing some better anime that did it first ofc) right after Yang and Blake kissed, and then it became real. This sounds like 4D chess, but considering the writing staff's IQ is about as high as the inside of a fridge, it is more like someone was playing checkers while the writers ate glue.

A+ way to end the series, I'll take this ending over whatever comes next.

The main two memes and talking points I’ve seen come out of this season was homophobic Ruby and this.

Fun fact: The Curious Cat, was apparently a stand-in for RWBY critics, and then it got brutally murdered.

I feel like there's a case to be made for the animator at least. She is so dam expressive and filled with contempt in that scene.

The character animation is actually very well done in this volume. Too bad everything else about it is shit, and they worked said animators to the bone for it.

"People are purposely reviewing the volume poorly."

As opposed to the people who took a tumble right into their keyboard and accidentally typed out and submitted a poor review.

I can't believe these people intentionally didn't like RWBY and are voicing their opinion. You should only voice your opinion when your opinion is CONSOOM

man, this is reminding me of Cuties/High Guardian Spice/Velma. Darn those nasty negative reviewers!
Do people unironically defend Velma? I thought Velma was a psyop written by secret conservatives to make the left look bad.

You know, I'll give RWBY this. It isn't Velma levels of bad. That's the only compliment I have besides the music being a guilty pleasure for me. That writes the story better than the actual show.

Even hardcore lefties hate Velma (partly cuz Mindy is a JKR fan). Must have hurt when daddy Biden awarded her with some media contributions thing.

They trying that much ill give them that much.

It's wasted effort.

Reviews and such only go towards feeding the algorithm in searches and such.

Investors care for viewer data (How many people watched and for how long) which can only be provided by the host. It's why Netflix gets in trouble for cancelling "very popular" shows, because they might be highly rated but no one watched them and that's what generates the profits.

RWBY could be the greatest show ever made (and it isn't, but) but investors only care about if people watched it or not. Frequently "bad" shows (talk shows, reality shows, etc) are better profits because people still watch them and they cost less to make.

Honestly I hope rwby keeps going because it's like a retard containment chamber. It's keeping a large portion of freaks and mouthbreathers from trickling out and infesting the shit I actually like.
May rwby continue all the way to Volume 20, god knows they fucking need those seasons since this recent season was a giant fucking nothing burger. I hope every die-hard rwby fan explodes into a cloud of gore and viscera once this show is finally put out of its misery.
