Are you Angry?

There's this idea that users on KiwiFarms, and platforms like it, are bitter, contrarian, and overall angry people. And reading the posts of most users here and taking them at face value, it's easy to see why someone might come to that conclusion.

A lot of it is the result of individual circumstances, world conditions, and the general stupidity of people's choices and ideas that bring out the frustration and mockery.

Would you consider yourself to be "angry?* Or are you mostly content, but love putting on the spicy persona that KiwiFarms is built for?

I get annoyed easily, and vent about random annoyances in the What Grinds Your Gears thread, but I rarely get truly angry. Most of the time it’s just exasperated annoyance and I’ll forget about it five minutes later.

I'd say it's more mild upset, most of the time. And really only when I read an article I don't care for. If I didn't visit KiwiFarms, I might grow to become angrier due to a lack of a proper outlet for expressing my opinions. As it's not easy to broach certain subjects with family, let alone desirable.

One thing that makes me legitimately angry, though, is a lack of remorse for wrongdoing. Excusing one's sins is the worst sort of thing, in my mind.

Not as a general rule, no. There are a handful of things that make me legitimately angry, but I generally try to avoid those things - I don't enjoy recreationally stewing in anger the way some people seem to.

Honestly I'm pretty sure most other places online are way angrier, it's just that they're constantly backhanded about it or act like cowards that pile all their ill will onto whichever target the hive has declared fatwa against.

This site does that to a much lesser extent; they'll trash someone or rage and let their frustrations out, but then that's it usually. Meanwhile a lot of the users on sites like Reddit or Twitter straight up want to see their targets lives destroyed or even outright ended.
