"Hell is in sort of a constant state of disarray and war because Lucifer left a long time ago and no one knew what to do after that). He (Pinhead) teleports from there to this wasteland and continues over this lake helped by inbred demons and recruits from the fortress...
...On the other side of the lake is an island with a massive cathedral built by Lucifer on it. Pinhead doesn’t feel any special vibe coming from it so he becomes very uneasy and starts to feel pain from his pins, which he apparently doesn’t normally feel...
...They reach the cathedral which actually looks kinda cool the way it’s described, and they go to the basement where Pinhead just opened this door using his blood so he can have an audience with Lucifer...
...He enters into Lucifer’s chamber where he sees that Lucifer has actually killed himself, apparently the entire cathedral was built as part of a massive machine that would allow Lucifer to kill his immortal body, because he dearly misses his father God and didn’t know what to do with his life...
...Pinhead, who hoped to gain great wisdom from Lucifer, becomes angry and removes all the magic spears Lucifer killed himself with from his body so he can steal Lucifer’s armor, which he has to cut off parts of his own body to put on...
...Pinhead brings up Lucifer’s corpse to show everybody that he’s dead, but then Lucifer comes back to life. He fights Pinhead and Pinhead beats the crap out of him but he comes back good as new and rips Pinhead a new one. He pulls a lot of the pins out of his head which makes Pinhead really depressed because the pins are his identity. Lucifer then talks about how he’s going to start destroying shit so no one can ever bother him again...
...Meanwhile in hell, a couple angels wonder what the heck happened, and Pinhead, getting weaker by the moment, hobbles to the top of a tower where he sees lights erupting all around hell, as it’s presumably about to rebuild itself or something. As the lights shine their brightest his face cracks in half and he passes away. That’s the death of Pinhead. We never learn his name. In the human world Lucifer is now actually running around, and he has sex...
