What the hell is a "two spirit" person?? I consider myself in the know when it comes to genderwoo thanks to tending the cows here, and that one's new.

Corissa's shit with the lawn kid reminds me of that time when she flipped out at the McDonald's drive through because some dude tisked at her. Now THAT was quality content.
Two spirt is basically non-binary but for aboriginal/first nations people from what I understand. In Canada the alphabet acronym many people use is 2SLGBTQ. Maybe it's like that other places but idk

Tommy Tooter claims to be “two spirit” if that’s of any help.

Very helpful! I'll go poke around that thread.

Well, I wasn't nearly as informed as I thought! It seems like every day there's some new letter to add to the genderwoo alphabet soup.

It's a contemporary concept of gender that, its proponents claim, was held by some Native American tribes, in which sissy boys who failed the usual tests of manhood (or opted out of them) got to live as women, dressing as women and doing women's work. Instead of men, the current version of things refers to them as being "two-spirit"—female souls in male bodies.

In the past, it was referred to by historians and anthropologists as "berdache," the term early French explorers used, which referred to the passive partner in homosexual male sex, and was derived from words with meanings such as "slave" or "concubine."

What nobody mentions now (because the concept has been increasingly sanitized for political ends since the 1970s) is that the tribes who practiced this were generally ones where women had extremely low status and were treated as chattel and drudges. So a man who was "two-spirit" wasn't some great mystical tranny medicine woman with a glittery unicorn as a spirit animal; he was an absolute failure of a man in a way that was so shameful he was demoted to being a woman. And women, it should be noted, didn't get elevated to male status by being butch; they were stuck as women. There are accounts of masculine women performing men's roles in some societies, but they're much rarer than men being consigned to the female role.

"Two-spirit," or the berdache tradition, didn't break a gendered binary; it was an expression of black-and-white, binary concepts of gender roles in intensely patriarchal, male-dominated societies.

I normally would have told you to google the term, but the information about it that is currently available has been so whitewashed and twisted to political ends—first by the LGB crowd in the '70s-90s, and then the QT+ retards since the '90s—that all you're going to get is page after page of invented history supporting a specific agenda.

This is probably a much better answer, but the short easy-to-remember answer is that it's just a term mainstream people started to use so they can try and argue that anyone who doesn't like trannies is also racist.

On one hand, it's good to address issues like, "Hey, don't throw the hose on the roses. It damaged them and I really spent a lot of time on those." I like plants, but at the end of the day, it's not a person or even an animal. All it requires is a reminder to be more careful, and then firing him if he doesn't mind what you say. That's it. No one and nothing of value was hurt.

I wish she would have filmed herself yelling at the dog destroying stuff. I'd skip the archive and go straight to her channel to see a gem like that. :D

I haven't been on in a hot minute but have been keeping up with the thread. Feel free to l8 r8 me for this.

The Steve thing makes me genuinely MATI. Any Kiwi who has been through a family member having cancer knows how hard it is. Even if they overcome it, or it's not fatal, it's still difficult to watch someone you love turn into a shell. They may not be the same afterwards, which makes it worse.

How can Corissa and J, narcissists or not, not feel any twinge of remorse for how they're exploiting him? Any sense of "wow this is fucked up"? This situation is not something you tell an army of strangers "hey, give my 5 dollars to hear about my dying stepdad". "Donate money to see a man die in real time" (that's basically what this is, no matter how much they sugarcoat it. Many Kiwis have pointed this out and pointing it out again would be moot).

It really does seem like they're in denial. But at the same time, they absolutely know what they're doing to some extent. How in God's name do people not see through this nonexistent facade? Would they be doing the same to their family members if given the opportunity? Absolutely skin-crawling. It really is some of humanity's worst.

They feel the opposite of remorse. Corissa, HBIC, would never open her home nor her personal pursestrings to anyone who wasn't there exclusively to tend to her whim. Not because she's selfish, it's just a boundary yknow. J is a helpless blob unable to climb her own porch stairs without multiple breaks. Yet, in their minds, this IS them providing. They have generously guided their audience of sycophantic paypigs toward this noble cause instead of shilling more bariatric fanny packs. You have no idea how hard it is to be this vulnerable, open, RAW U GUYS, FAWWK

I've said it before, but narcissists and autists have a very similar inability to wrap their heads around the concept of appropriate public behaviour. The difference is that autists lack the ability to see their behaviour from someone else's point of view and need to be told that they are being inappropriate, whereas narcs just don't give a flying fuck what anyone else thinks and honestly believe that everyone is as bored shitless with events that aren't centered around them as they are.

Corissa and Juliana genuinely believe that merely directing attention away from themselves and onto Steve and Patty is a huge sacrifice for them. And like any other attention whoring narcissist, it doesn't occur to them that attention can be bad and that there are times when other people don't want it or it's inappropriate to seek it. With their utter inability to emphasise with others, the idea that Steve might not actually be in a mental condition to consent to the details and pictures that they're sharing about him even if he does say 'yes', will never trouble their fat soaked brains.

Narcissts are vile creatures.
