Cottagecore is considered attractive to a large amount of straight men?View attachment 5102210
To be fair, this might have been from when people were roasting the ugly Little House on the Prairie looking dresses that were being sold at Target.

Typically when I see cottagecore dresses (as a trending style, not a lifestyle) on my feed they're designed to be breathable and comfortable while still being flattering to the female frame, with some showing more skin than others. The silhouettes and beautiful and balanced. The women who display the garments keep their hairstyles soft and clean, and the makeup (if any is used) is kept natural and gives a healthy glow.

So what happens when you put a dress meant for a woman on a man? You know the answer.

killitwithfire.jpg

You get greasy AGPs who get away with putting their fetish on full display as they groom kids and screech about trans "genocide". Zac will never be a woman.

Revision 1150985720 is funny because it changes "independent journalist and trans activist Erin Reed" to "independent journalist and activist Erin Reed" so people don't immediately realize it's a troon dating another troon.
Almost missed that Starklinson's Revision 1151994562 changes "in a relationship with independent journalist and activist Erin Reed" to "in a relationship with journalist and activist Erin Reed", because I guess that makes Erin Reed sound more relevant and less of a forced meme

Imagine using your work account to post shit like this and also not delete it 3 years later

This kind of cringe degeneracy would be 'a bit much' in most blue areas of California, let alone fucking MONTANA. The entire Montana Democratic Party is a lolcow, collectively, for making this... thing their new mascot.

I'm still utterly perplexed by the fact that I tried to tell an acquaintance of over 10 years about puberty blockers being INSANELY bad for minors and not "completely reversible" as TRAs like to say after I started studying neuroscience.

He not only called me a conspiracy theorist for expressing my concern for the children but then that same day started retweeting this troon's takes on puberty blockers.

I hope that they do this more, it only makes them look even worse. If you want an example of how fucked up the world is: I know someone who’s fighting with a health insurance company to get their kid a continuous glucose monitor for their type 1 diabetes. They think testing 3 times a day with a finger stick is enough for an 8 year old and being able to see the kids reading 24/7 even if they aren’t there isn’t important.

But you know is covered? Troonjuice. So apparently it’s medically necessary to be able to chemically castrate your 8 year old but treating type 1 diabetes and mitigating against real and legitimate safety issues isn’t. Tells you exactly the kind of people who run these companies.

Man, those posts from his old reddit make him sound fairly intelligent. His post on original sin was very well written, he made an excellent case for his viewpoint. Clearly he's the thinker in the relationship, as Tony is barely above average.

But what happened? How did he go from smart nerd to doing this retarded martyr shit? He doesn't seem autistic, which means it's porn of course, but it's really sad.

Zac seems like someone I could hang with and have deep conversations. We might not agree at the end, but we're cool.

Zooeeeey is a nigger faggot. I could not hang with him, because he's become one-dimensional. We would definitely disagree, and he'd file hate crime charges for it.

(This is a little autistic, I know, but this sort of thing just makes me sad. It's such a waste.)

I don’t get that. Why not just say “everyone?”
Apart from the "inclusivity" reason as mentioned by @The Judean People's Front, I have a very strong suspicion that it's also at least partially (perhaps subconsciously) an imitation of AAVE (African-American Vernacular English) – i.e., "talking black". "Y'all" is a typical feature of AAVE because, surprise surprise, the vast majority of blacks in the US were concentrated in the South before they moved elsewhere during the Great Migration. The use of y'all is pretty common on "Black Twitter" because that's how they actually talk in real life.

There's probably no way to prove it definitively, but my overwhelming gut feeling is that online white SJW types, regardless of geographical origin, began incorporating "y'all" into their vocabulary over the past decade as a result of the increasing online presence of BLM activists on Twitter and elsewhere starting from the time of Trayvon Martin, the first of the great African-American-related social spergouts of the past decade, and the origin of the "BLM" hashtag as a reaction to George Zimmerman being acquitted.

There are other dialectal forms for expressing you-plural in the US, such as "youse" or "yinz", or even just "you all", yet "y'all" is the specific form that the inclusivity cultists have settled on. For that matter, "you" by itself is technically a plural form, although that distinction has been mostly lost in English in the year of Our Lord 2023. My suspicion is that this is not coincidence, but a result of the prominence of AAVE not only through online activism but also popular culture in the form of rap and R&B.

It's subtle enough that one can make the excuse that it's for gender-inclusivity reasons, coupled with the fact that white Southerners also use y'all as a matter of course in everyday speech, that non-black/non-southern SJWs can get away with using it without being accused of cultural appropriation.

Also, it's still a somewhat folksy, "down-home" expression, so it has a certain informal charm to it. Likewise the use of "folks" and its deformed mutant offspring "folx" by the same demographic. (President Obama often used "folks" in his public speeches as well).

TL;DR: White SJWs imitating black people online.

...couple of questions:

1) Is Laura Ingalls Wilder play an actual scene?

2) Is this style actually a thing among girls that weren't raised in fundamentalist Christian families in rural Kansas?

I love how the AI has learned to make his brow ridge and deep-set eyes even more prominent than in real life. :story:

If I didn't know better I'd assume the artist was taking the piss out of him here. Apart from making him look vaguely Latino/Native America, I love how they've made that big ol' male philtrum extra prominent.

Agree 100%. It's really sad: Zach's obviously a sensitive, intelligent gay boy who grew up in an inhospitable environment and turned to online communities for solace, which unfortunately means that he belonged to one of the demographics most at risk for succumbing to the trans mind virus nowadays. (:_(

Pretty sure you can find old ladies who dress like that all over the country. Probably just happens to be associated with areas where there are more fundies because that's where you see younger people dressing like that.

Pretty sure even old ladies generally have more modern style than that nowadays. Those two look like they're about to go spin yarn and churn butter for a few hours while Pa and the boys chop wood to build the new barn.

Hey now. I have friends who spin yarn, they are all pretty cool people - none of whom dress like that. Spinning/fiber arts are cool these days with upper middle class middle-aged women, because we're the ones with the income to support the hobby. It's a huge deal, with festivals, retreats, cruises, and everything.

Men nerd out about cars. Women nerd out over fiber.
