Nobody reads the plot synopsis for anything anymore, not even Crazy Dave.
He and his paypigs are speculating all sorts of shit the synopsis already confirms/denies, with some even thinking the show will go from a Small Brawl light-hearted tone to a Black tone as episodes progress.
Well why wasn't Jaffe involved? said the normies in his comments.
Because the people making this shit don't care about Twisted Metal. No one in the business knows about, plays, or cares about the products they sell anymore.
This is a D-show with a half-assed TM coat of paint applied. And I'm amazed Jaffe is acting enthused, to the point I suspect he's pulling a Kevin Smith-with-HeMan.
A proper teaser made by people who love the IP they're working on would've made the teaser a monologue narrated by Calypso (bonus points for getting Mel McMurrin to do the role) and instead of the uninspired 'start your engines' would've had a message, flashing in red, asking: Will you drive?.
And lol at Dave thinking the CG fires in the bush are 'battles going on around Anthony Mackie'. Battles are expensive, Dave. Despite the name there will be minimal car combat. Nope, instead you'll have an Anthony Mackie delivery quest riddled with mindless drama about his uninteresting backstory.
The Halo show despite it's budget and production sucked. What chance does this shit have when they even admit it's not about adapting the game to the silver screen, but rather intending to retroactively adapt an IP to a shit idea?
Lastly, That teaser soundtrack sucks balls. Are Rob Zombie, Cirrus, and Skold really charging that much for licensing these days?
It's Twisted Metal, right? I mean, it's something.
Shut up, Dave.
It all depends on the people making it. Look at Cobra Kai.
READ THE FUCKING VIDEO DESCRIPTION FOR FUCK'S SAKE.
The people who made Cobra Kai loved the inspirations that they draw from. The head writers cannot even tell you who drives Grasshopper or what Marcus Kane desires.
You could have 5 seasons of this!
LOLOLOL Anthony Mackie and Samoa Joe are not going to stick around for anything past season 1. You're delusional, David.
