Hoooooooooooooly Shit, that's bad

This is THE thing that everyone makes fun of when they think (and dread) about grandpa trying to stay cool and hip with the kids these days.

Like, he actually thinks he's David Caruso having an iconic CSI Miami moment thats just missing the show's theme song after that line

No concept or understanding of why and how the "dark Brandon" meme became a thing in the first place

....... fucking WOW.
I don't know when was the moment when American politicians became celebrities (maybe it goes all the way back to Washington based on the artwork of him as a general and a president). This probably not new since ancient civilizations did similar things with their leaders.

Something something history something something rhymes.

"Pants on fire. We're technically allowed to censor you all we want"
Lifelong Democrat finally gets to find out how it is on the other side of the aisle. Trump went through the same thing: he was a lifelong Democrat and just expected the system to work as designed. Like Boinie in 2016 and 2020, the system will come down hard on RFK Jr. if not harder, to make sure the rest of the Democrats fall in line. The most they’re allowed is the Democrat Socialists of America who fall into line when the rubber hits the road.
McEnany does owe Trump her future though. “Top Harvard grads” are a dime a dozen in the beltway, it was her being nominated by Trump that made her visible.

I don't know much about what goes on in the left sphere. Looks like they are hiring astroturfing thirst-traps now.

This is not new, journalists have hired thirst traps for decades. Since journalism is so overloaded and demand continues to dwindle, there is nothing resembling a meritocracy. It’s just nepotism and pincushions like this thot. There’s the occasional articles written by the empty egg carton set that whine about thottery in journalism, even as they played those roles 20-30 years prior.

Isn't that the exact reason why GamerGate started?

To play Devils advocate:

They know the entire system is broken but are at a damned if you do or don't situation right now. If they say, "Yeah! It's fucked!", then people will just panic and perform a bankrun which is easier to do than ever now thanks to Social Media.

With how frail the American economy is right now if they let even a medium sized bank fail then the entire system will completely crash and the US will be at the mercy of the Brics nations.

For the longterm it would be better to just do something along the lines of a chapter 11 bankruptcy and switch the US back to manufacturing everything. It would be a painful 10 years to make the switch which is why the current crop of spineless faggots in Congress will never do it.

The problem is that the US people cannot stand any amount of discomfort whatsoever and as a result they will sacrifice everyone and everything to live the easy life a little longer just at the cost of harsher pain down the line.

All this is why it's understandable why Boomers are so hated. They selfishly ruined everything to live a nice life at the cost of their children's happiness in the future.

If the USD collapse so does the rest of the world, international trade and finance rely on it, including BRICS. when a depression starts wealth around the world will flee to the USD and safety. at the international level the USD fills the role that gold used to.

Manufacturing is returning to NA. the US is getting the more high-tech industries and Mexico is getting the low level. Wages in china have risen so much that it is now often cheaper to cut out the shipping middleman and manufacture at home, and this will only accelerate as the Chinese population decreases (projected to decrease by half by 2070 IIRC). it will take years but it's happening, not because of politics or war but because of the best motivator in the world: greed.

Hence why they're ALL trying to move away from the USD. Beyond just the Biden admin trying to use cancel culture tactics on an entire country using our financial system as a weapon -- which will, in the future, be remembered as one of the dumbest fucking things ever done by an admin, the most current year of current year shit, and the beginning of the end -- they aren't drinking our koolaid and HAVE to see the upcoming crash.

Move away from it to... what? Monopoly money is realer currency than the yuan.

This is like if WWII-era Japan said it was still "sound and reseilient" after both Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
:stress:

That is actually literally what they did.

Hirohito did not use the word "surrender" once when broadcasting it to his subjects, and carefully avoided mentions of the horrendous situation the IJA and IJN were in getting their shit kicked in because it doesn't matter how much of a crazy bastard you are when the yanks can just pump out bomb after bomb after bomb and starve you out by blotting out the sun with ordinance.

His exact words to describe that they lost were "the war situation has developed not necessarily to Japan's advantage"

I suspect much like Hirohito the retards at the Fed are desperately trying to avoid collapse of trust in the system. In their case being a bank run and a that would make them lose control and collapse the system much faster than they can possibly transition to a new grift.

that's the thing. there is no other currency that can do what the dollar does, and the US has used the dollar as a weapon since bretton-woods so that is nothing new (some would say its the main point of being the reserve currency). for any currency to be a global reserve currency it must not discriminate between citizen's and foreigners, and be completely open to inflow's and outflow's. few capital controls at all. China cannot allow that, and wouldn't even if they could. not many countries would. the CCP hold's the yuan with a iron grip.

If the US stopped being the world reserve the US itself would likely see greater and faster growth and less debt (because the value of the dollar would fall, making US exports more competitive internationally) and slower growth for the rest of the world especially Asia and Africa (because they are cut off from the US money spigot and market).

Central Bank Digital Currency. Will make surveillance and enforcing Social Credit Scores much easier.
that has nothing to do with a currency's use in international trade or as a reserve.
