reddit General

No actually, I just find it funny. I follow tons of "transphobic" twitters, I read up on stinkditch extensively, I monitor couple progressive discords and trans subreddits, just so I can study how they talk online. I do the same thing for normal men and women, be it black gay feminist whatever but just to a lesser extent cause its not fun fucking up the spaces of relatively normal people, unless theyre radical marxists or feminist tumblrites. Its like an animal study expedition in Africa, call me autistic but I just like the idea of being an imposter and fucking up spaces, especially those spaces which contain failed abortions and the criminally insane. Its just for kicks, nothing else. Im a straight religious person btw, if you just wanted proof.
@Null, please make it so new fags can't post for 6 months.

The op also got really buttmad that people took away their imaginary internet points lmao

Has this retard ever read a real book? For many centuries white characters were described with a “pearly” or “milk” skin. It's so cliche it wouldn't fly now, but it was common. Calling a white person “mayonnaise” skinned wouldn't work because it's not a sweet flavor. That's also why “chocolate” skinned works better than “shit” skinned.

It's such a bizarre perversion (heh) of a genuinely useful piece of advice for people (you're only as young as you feel), meant to suggest that just because you're starting to age doesn't mean you have to give up being active and doing the things you enjoy.

You absolutely can still be jovial and silly as an adult. Having someone who's usually in a genuinely (not forced or annoying about it) upbeat and jovial mood in the workplace can seriously boost morale. But it has to come in moderation, and never at inappropriate moments. I've got a reputation at the office of being a bit of a goof, always good for a clean (or dirty) joke and exchanging HR-unfriendly barbs with my coworkers. In fact the HR woman has a dirtier mouth than the rest of us (obviously it's not a big company). You can still be a professional and a goofball so long as you temper it with wisdom.

But that shit never comes out when someone gives bad news (death of a relative, someone gets fired/quits, etc.). And it's never carried to a point that it disrupts productive work either. And people still dress like professionals. Polos and shorts are common, t-shirts are tolerated. Button-ups and slacks for special occasions. And as it turns out, "professionalism" is one way skilled workers tend to endure economic downturns (even in high-turnover industries) better than their t-shirt-wearing colleagues.

You can always spot the junior-level employees with one glance because they're always wearing "clever" or "branded" t-shirts with some dumb slogan or a mass media cultural reference on it. The ones who quickly adapt and ditch the t-shirts end up working out just fine. Those who don't tend not to make it very long -- not because of the attire, but because they tend to suck at their job (tardiness, laziness, incompetence, drama, etc.).

I suppose most of the people who reason like these redditors have never actually held down a job of any significance, so the above won't matter much to them.

I think many here use camas reddit search (which is reliant on pushshift) to find deleted comments and posts so this sucks

There's nothing wrong with keeping whimsy and magic in your life, it's what keeps us sane in-between spreadsheets. The difference between regular humans and redditors is that most people just realize they have the power to just buy a Rilakkuma plushie or take up rollerskating, redditors need to rush to their sub of choice to dress it up as a big revelation. And treat it as revolutionary therapy in contrast to those soul-sucking boomers, not recognizing that most boomers already knew this but had an outlet to embrace their youthful interests through spending time with their children, which a child-hating redditor would not understand.

That, and they have a habit of taking things way too far, which is why there are so many "blew the last couple of paychecks on a $5000 Lego set!" posts that makes them look dumb as fuck when they complain about not being able to afford groceries a day later.

It's the annoying bit about redditors where they disregard thousands of years of philosophy that is effectively the beating heart of Western Civilization because they're angry their parents took away their gameboy and forced them to sit in Church for maybe two hours on a Sunday.
Literally this one paragraph explains more about the average Redditor than an entire psychology novel.

Too much words for a 'distressing' 'meme'.

I hate it when horror memes or those short horror stories on Reddit are just used as soapboxes. That or they're just blatant fantasy material like a racist or abusive man being brutally murdered by a benevolent monster. One of the worst I read was a story back in the olden days where shopkeepers told a black customer to get the fuck out. Then some robbers came in and it was heavily implied they were going to kill the shopkeepers and the black person just walked away. That was the "horror" story. The OP coped by saying that racism was the true horror down in the comments.

Can't wait until they do the IPO and the userbase crashes to the ground. Icing on the cake if the jannies strike for double the wages.
Are they even still trying to proceed with the IPO anymore? That was announced more than two years ago (I think). I was under the impression there was an assortment of deadlines (related to SEC regulations) involved with an IPO and if you "kicked the can down the road" too far you had to start the whole thing over again, which apparently isn't all that cheap.

Reddit is removing support for pushshift.io.

Pushshift is the service that downloads and archives all Reddit's new posts and content, which is what enables sites like reveddit and its predecessors to show moderator-removed comments.

Pushshift enabled the use of censorship detection tools, so this change makes it impossible to see what kind of content that jannies are deleting. Farmers who frequent Stinkditch will be familiar with the kind of content that is commonly removed, including benign liberal comments that support keeping sports segregated by sex. I'm not surprised by this change since many of the power mods across Reddit are jobless trannies who work day and night to manufacturer consent and enforce the appearance of a positive cultural consensus on gender ideology (among, obviously, many MANY other issues).

In addition, reddit recently announced that they will start charging for access to their API and not pushing NSFW content to the third-party apps and services - these things are all likely in prep for the IPO. Related, nobody has ever seemed to have any answers for how they plan to have a public offering when their content is approximately 40% pictures of unattractive buttholes.

This is literally just a woman wearing oversized clothes. Some are androgynous, others are traditionally male but obviously not made for her size, and then there's outfits like this...

Wow, so manly dudebros!!!

"Please, only American's don't want to get tossed into ovens." The leaf smugly replies as the government burns him alive.
"You don't want your family raped and murdered by drugged out weirdos? What are you an American?" The leaf scoffs as his family is raped and eaten by methed out hobos.
So the fucking commie scumbag who stole people's bank accounts for daring to criticize his destruction of their way of making a living with the most authoritarian commie bullshit imaginable (the trucker protest), is actually seriously claiming "authoritarianism" is a problem?

Bitch you are authoritarianism personified!
That's also why “chocolate” skinned works better than “shit” skinned.
Why the fuck would anyone object to being compared to chocolate? Literally nobody except sick weirdoes dislike chocolate.

Chocolate, coffee, mahogany, frankly black people get the best adjectives anyone could hope for.

It doesn't look remotely manly, but I have to admit it is a very nice layered approach. You know, for a woman.

She has a nice sense of style for streetwear. The outfits are okay, though I hate rolling the sleeves of a blazer in one of the pics. However, she feels she's a manbro dude because she wears jeans and... button-down shirts? Something women fought to wear last century and was considered unisex is now masculine again to these people. Gender ideology is fucked.

My question is who tries this desperately to hide their pregnancy? It's not something you can hide past like 4 months. Most normal people embrace pregnancy, in straight relationships it's celebrated and pregnancy photos are common. Also, who is gonna be wearing all of that when it's spring/summer? Especially since women get hotflashes during pregnancy... I'm not a chick, but I'd say fuck all that.

Also, all of these outfit look retarded except for one. They're trying way too hard and are just out there on some Balenciaga bullshit.

This is the only outfit I like. Unsurprisingly, it's the only one where she isn't trying to dress "masculine". Being an attractive woman and straying down the masculine/butch path is like shooting yourself in the foot. It's like they're trying to be ugly, why? I don't get it.
