I haven't watched this one yet. I've been checking more of them out just to see what she says about various things. But in her video about Established Titles she mentions that she was donating a bunch of her candle profits to The Trevor Project. Now I don't know a lot about it other than it' an LGBT organization. But most of those pretty much focus on the T.

Blair used her contribution as a comparison to how Established Titles doesn't directly plant trees but gives money to organizations that do. I just found it odd that she decided to bring up her contribution to The Trevor Project like that. I think it was part gloating and part advertising her overpriced candles. She could have used a different example. But she chose to advertise herself instead. Lovely. It just made her look even smugger. That should have been part of her ad time in the video. Not lumped in with the video's subject matter.

Her Noom video is borderline HAES territory. I agree that Noom is a diet app masquerading as "we're totally not a diet app". And you are being fleeced if you pay for it. Blair is obviously very sensitive about her weight. I think that's why she got mad over a fat joke aimed at someone else. While she was ok with the fat guy drawn with a burger head, the blow up with the other guy could be as simple as she couldn't fit into her jeans that day. That's just conjecture. But I get the feeling she's an angry fat who hates her body and projects it on others. Hence why she's so sensitive about weight related stuff.

I hate people who look at a scenario where one person is clearly wrong and go all "We'll never know what really happened", or "I hate it when 2 creators fight. Just make up please". Sometimes one person is an asshole and does cause unjustified conflict and I wish more people would understand that.

Good to see that people aren't buying into iilluminaughtii's shit as easily as before. Of course, there's still people who defend her for whatever reason, but judging from the video comments, they seem to be not wholly convinced by her response. I can't imagine what was going through her head when she was editing this video.

Her weak "apology" fits the typical scummy YT apology video trope to a T, including the oft-used "sorry, not sorry, it's actually your fault!". These tricks are old-hat (and are most likely not effective on the public as much, given how many fake apology videos use them nowadays). This is especially obvious when she tries to deflect criticism by putting in emotional appeals (my mom has cancer! I donate to charity!). The only thing that's missing is crying crocodile tears on camera, since she's a PNGTuber.

Some comments are claiming she's been deleting negative comments, but there are so many it's hard to tell.

The "I'm sorry you're offended" style apologies kinda baffle me. Like, is it not obvious how it makes you look? What is it that makes these people power through and still say stuff like that? Ego?

I guess there were a lot more people on the edge with her than I thought, based on the comments in this thread and on her youtube. It's good to see people's inner 'danger, do not touch' bells are still working in the age of the internet.

I think I posted this in some YT thread, but it might have been here, I apologize if that is the case.

Anyway, I used to like her early content (years back, I am not sure how many exactly), when it was exclusively about MLM. A subject I am morbidly obsessed with.

As time passed, you could feel that her ego was growing and the content shifted to rambling, preaching and drama. One day I randomly caught a stream, which was pretty new for her, not sure if she still does that. But she was basically giving trigger warnings and speaking like a fucking retard. I never watched her channel again after this.

She had a cat fight with another youtuber a year or so ago as well, and just like what happened now, she was dead wrong. Happy mind cruel world or something like that, another 9000+ rambling MLM youtuber.

I don't even hate watch, so I can't say anything about her current content, but her early videos were OK.

My first exposure to illuminaughtii was a family member watching them. It only took me a few mins of listening, and I told them that she seems disingenuous, and likely outright dishonest, and prob a bitch.

So glad to see that I was right, and that it wasn't just her normie-tier liberal sensibilities (even tho, per tommyc, she's apparently just a grifter with no real political opinions) that bothered me.

like yea, I get it, she probably has some kind of cluster B shit going on. It makes sense. I'm not diagnosed with anything and I'm not going to claim to be, but I do display traits and symptoms because like all kiwis Im fucked up. I'm only going off because I used to enjoy her content. And just. Ffs, there's less harmful ways to get your praise and validation and feeling of superiority, like being good, and helping others. Like that old story about the Rabbi and the guy who wanted to build the orphanage. Sorry. Im just pissed because everyone is being outed as shitty lately. Why is being decent so hard for people?
