Apparently there's a psychological thing where the more you discuss something, even knowing it's not true, the more you start to believe it. It feels like it's happening with Lucas going to rehab.

I think he never went, he just Googled rehab places, saw that pool table photo, and added it to his lies. The story about the other patient is from another time, and most likely something someone else told him about that he's appropriated. Trying to tease what little truth he's basing his lies on can be interesting speculation, and I'd say there are a few truths mixed in where he just reversed cause and effect, blaming events for the drugs he took rather than him taking drugs first, or something incredibly dumb like he mixed drugs to see what would happen and now claims he 'didn't realise'.

But it's lies all the way down. He never went to rehab, that was just a convenient out he got given and used to get out of yet another shitstorm he'd created by being his vile, narcissistic self. His drug concoctions and reactions make no sense, his claims to PTSD and 'I was going to kill myself' are so anodyne they both belong in the centre square of a troon bingo card, none of the timelines match, and while it's clearly possible to buy drugs on the darkweb, he uses it the same way news reports do - as the boogieman of the internet to scare you with its secret possibilities.

It's interesting, in between being a little irritating, watching the concept of Lucas having gone to rehab keep creeping back in to the thread. It's a lie, people acknowledge it's a lie, but it keeps being brought up - so what if Lucas did go? Well he definitely didn't complete the whole program and he said he's doing it online and that could be plausible, he's going to relapse the way he's talking and we'll get another rehab saga... and slowly the known liar's lie gets eroded.

Sure, we don't have absolute definitive proof that he never went. And even if we got proof he never went to the one he named, he could just say he lied to protect his privacy or forgot the right name because of benzos or whatever excuse. But it's easily the most likely scenario that, as he's been known to do multiple times before, he's concocted a story, gotten a couple of details from a cursory glance on the topic, and then just made shit up. A big lie, none of it true, throwing in a couple of details here and there from stories he's trying to emulate, usually gotten from other people. We've seen it time and again, from people who have faked cancer, lied about being indigenous, all the big bullshitters - none of it happened, or the bits that did didn't happen to them, they just heard it and wove it into their narrative.

Tl;dr: Everything points to there being no 'if' to Lucas going to rehab. It never happened. It's funnier that he's had this long to work on a story and, because he hates work, it still comes off this unbelievable.

I actually kind of hope Lucas really did order large orders of schedule 1 drugs off the darknet so that when he has to appear for his Kangaroo Court with the police that after the hearing the LPS arrested for drug trafficking and throw him into the male gen pop at EMDC.

If he can't remember anything prior to going to rehab where did all those new details from the HRT complaint come from? The lawyer can't be too happy about yesterday's confessional.
