May 1 2023 - Chris sighting at Walmart

This thread made me feel the way I feel when I open a book I've never read. It's the first page of a new chapter, in a new saga, and I both can't wait to see where it goes but am in no rush to get to the ending.
I feel this, it's the new era. I hope the next major event is organic and just Chris being Chris, and isn't manufactured by weens or a-logs or retards, but I know it will be.

My guess is that he's just wearing pieces left over from when he was arrested.

When you're brought to jail you go through an intake process. This this includes confiscating anything that's on you including your clothes itemizing it and then vacuum sealing it. Then on your release from jail they hand you back the packet with all your belongings in it.

It's possible that this is the same medallion if it didn't break in the vacuuming process.

thats what i like about chris. He's so desperate to hold onto that one little piece of that world he created where he's a god king mayor for life that even at the risk of getting noticed by people who'd be more than willing to either hecter the shit out of him or worse, can't keep him from wanting that familiar medallion.

It's like a baby's security blanket, its all he has to make him feel safe and warm in a world that loathes him to no end.
I understand and agree with you. We all want that and Chris has the...uh, courage to do that IRL.

It would be a better world if we could be ourselves and share our...uh, selves with each other. You know what I mean.

But there's a difference between being yourself and hurting someone.

I don't think the medallion or Chris's, uh, outfit should part ways from his person.

But Chris will never know true peace because he saw fit to compromise other people's peace; Snyder, Megan, Barb, the entire internet, the unfortunate rest of his family, my hope for humanity, everything.

Let him keep Sonichu, but never should he forget what he's done.

Maybe they’re still assessing how he’ll use the Internet unless they’ve determined it’s just too high risk and would bring too much attention to his group home. If he was online his wranglers would likely be doxed by now along with whoever else he is living with.
Most likely his terms for the bail said he couldn't use the internet

But how does he still have money?

For group homes there tend to be a firewall that just blocks social media and pornografic sites (God I hope so).
On extreme cases even Youtube, videogames / Videogame media.

Most likely so bad influences cannot reach them.
However, this is Chris were fucking talking about, he'll find a way to mess up his life.

Just a month ago Chris was discharged and he regained all his fat. I wonder where and with whom he resides now.
That’s a good question. When some people diet (and you see this a lot with fad diets), they immediately put the weight back on because they go back to their old eating habits. I say “immediately” loosely because I have no idea how quickly that weight actually piles back on. But I can imagine Chris wanting to guzzle junk food as soon as he got off his prison diet.

OK can we reopen the faqs about jail or start a new one for the gateway saga? Because I'm really getting bored repeating this.

Neither the court or gateway have any legal authority to ban Chris from the internet. Even inmates in prison can gain access to some controlled internet use. (emails and social services)

The most likey reasons why Chris hasn't been online in the month since he release is because gateway isn't providing him internet service, not even access to their wifi, he has no device capable of accessing the internet (the phone he had on him at his arrest most likey had its service cut years ago) and hielburg/ gateway may have asked Chris not to go online till after the case is resolved if only to avoid mucking things up with undue attention to himself and the home.

But even all three of those factors are working against him, theirs nothing stopping Chris from logging on once/if the wranglers at gateway feel he's earned it. It's no different than other privlages residents at these homes have. From tv time to these Walmart outings, they have to be earned through good behavior and a grace period.

Nonsense, who's he going to rape? Are they going to let him into a geriatric ward and leave him alone?

Chris' "rape" of his elderly mother was a product of one extremely specific and extreme set of circumstances, and arose exclusively because he was given prolonged, isolated access; unless there are human vegetables laying all over the countryside, he's not going to be roaming and raping anyone. He's going to go back to being a garden variety retard with a poor sense of boundaries, like he always was.

I have no idea why it’s so hard for people to understand this

You know, all this "detective work" and shit does bring me back to the good old days of Chris being at least a semi-happy autist who did stupid nonsense that we got a good laugh at before things went gradually darker with the latter sagas. But nowadays even the schadenfreude is gone. It just feels like observing the last pitiful specimen of a kind die of old age.

Alright retards and retard watchers, lemme explain how this works. In group homes and therapeutic settings an individual gets privileges based on good behavior unless it is specifically against any court orders.

Most people being charged with sex offenses aren't allowed on the internet at all until they're off probation and even then a lot of social media sites don't platform sex offenders, and they can be reported with a link to their sex offender registration. Sites have a right to deny pedos and I commend the ones that do.

Other privileges like getting to go places unsupervised are based on behavioral and therapeutic goals. I'm thinking this won't be his final stop and that he will be in a long-term facility. This place doesn't seem equipped for a mostly permanent resident.

I'm wondering if the deal they have for him is he's going to end up in a (almost?) permanent placement in exchange for not being criminally charged. This facility seems like they're taking a look at how he functions out of jail and it a therapeutic home setting to further assess what level of care will be necessary. They have the notes from his prior hospital/psych ward stays during incarceration and whatever had been passed on from jail, they don't really have much on him in a more normal setting especially after being detached from society for as long as he has been.

There might even be a chance that he gets placed out of Virginia as well if there is a program willing to take him. My guess is he will be placed out of state or end up back in jail if he can't comply with his treatment plan.
