I'm going to hazard the guess VCA's issue with Karl might be more about the Satanism thing than about cutting off Ian. Especially since VCA specified faiths in their response.

It reads like they don't really care about his beliefs at all, just the massive shitstorm he's been kicking up has pissed them off and they don't want to deal with it anymore. There's probably been a fair few people bitching to them about Karl and they eventually just got tired of it.

This is a complex issue. I have no idea if Vickers is persona non grata, but I wouldn't find it surprising - not because of anything Larry has said, but just because there are a lot of names on internal blacklists that you wouldn't expect. Britt Slabinski, recent ST6 Medal of Honor recipient, is persona non grata at ST6. If Larry does have a bad rep, it could be for a lot of different reasons. Slabinski was blacklisted for talking to the NYT (but not for killing Afghans indiscriminately, which he also did). The SEALs who testified against Eddie Gallagher almost got pushed out. On the other hand, Marcus Luttrell is a made man despite SF guys knowing that Lone Survivor was largely a fabrication. As far as the combat goes, Delta had first choice of missions before 9/11, so who knows.

This isn't powerleveling btw. All these details are well-reported in Code Over Country by Matthew Cole (and other books). Also note that all the names I mentioned are SEALs, but in part that's because they make more book deals than CAG. Delta has a rep as more professionally run, but it has its own share of dark business and internal politics. And with the new generations of operator youtubers like Mike Glover, FNG Academy, WPS, etc, incidents in other SF units may start to come out.

All of this is to say that everyone should take SF claims with a grain of salt and don't draw dogmatic conclusions from Larry or anyone else. I honor his service and give him the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time I keep in mind I don't know the ultimate truth. Without a doubt SF is one of the most respectable and grueling professions in the world, but the days of taking everything at face value are disappearing.

I like the cope posting, but also you'd think that by tearing a bible it would be offensive to Christians, but he takes grave offense if somebody speaks ill about his beliefs on the trans community. Especially since VCA did say 2a for all and said it was because Karl was sperging and making people feel offended (probably Christians for him dressing like a fool and partaking in destroying their holy book). Not very inclusive of him since he is willing to offend certain groups but will blacklist people for even perceived offense against a group he wants to protect.

I forgot all about the wall climb that was suddenly absent from all subsequent 2gacm competitions or in any brutality competitions. Mostly because Phagan wasnt good at it. But they complain when Ian said, most people cant get the spinner and par out and said people need to git good. If it was because of safety since Phagan hurt his knee on the wall then they wouldnt do the kasarda drill because people have hurt their shoulders doing that drill but they increase the weight and modified the rule to keep the drill since karl is too much of an ego maniac to abandon a drill with his name attached to it. So clearly safety isnt the reason they abandoned the wall since it couldve been modified too.
