The mistake is to think it’s Jon when it’s not playing to the strength of the format. The cast has began to feel less like our social experiment contestants and more like staff that wait around for the next social experiment free challenge. It’s stuff that works on paper but not for hours at a time.

Vance killing it with the schizo thing? Let’s have him talk to the financial planner for an hour. Letty scheming? Let’s call her out to her face and destroy the dynamic. Day 2 of a physical challenge? Tell them to act retarded and leave the room. I’m sure that won’t get boring.

This data is useless. Yeah, Jon's not been at the top of his game today, but every time he's hit a low point so far, he's come back.
Looking at the big picture, Sylvia and Damiel are by far the least entertaining in the house. Vance at least stepped the fuck up with the schizo act, but that's been his only real moment so far. Jon doesn't solely carry the show on his back for the first time in weeks, and suddenly he's got to go? I think these people are probably retarded.
I wish he would participate by actually acting schizo, but this whole challenge really should have been for a shorter time, especially since practically everything was nerfed for liability reasons. The physical disabilities are already kind of old. Having to crawl up the stairs when in the wheelchair was funny the first time, but at the end of the rotation the bit's going to be stale as hell.

My personal theory is that it was purely to fuck with them. Hype them up with the possibility to win an extra fishbuck by acting as cringe as possible and after some of them humiliated themselves just enough come in and tell them straight to their faces "Hey, your shit sucks and you also get no money. He spent half an hour in the basement talking with Jet instead of participating in the last challenge, and the challenge got cancelled as soon as he left. (Tbf it was a shit challenge.) People are accusing the producers of coddling him because they know without him they don't have much of a show. This is on top of stuff like the production staff keeping people from bullying him too hard over TTS.
