I know you said Chris was buying the gel online, are you sure it's not Barb's? It could be causing some of the issue Chris is having, but I'd like to know how sure you are before I write anything about it and bug my pharmacist friends.
Also sounds 100% like Chris to go to the method that takes the least amount of money and effort.

I'm not an expert on the situation, but I don't think they'd prescribe estrogel for a woman for 20 years after menopause.

Barb is a bit too old for estrogen replacement therapy and has been for 10 years. If it's her gel it is undoubtedly expired....not that that would stop Chris from using it I guess.

I understand Marvin, I was not trying to insult your intelligence, it is just so ironic that he has been talking about it for a long time and then this happens. I cannot believe that Chris would buy several hundreds of dollars worth of lego sets, yet not set some money aside each month for proper hormone therapy, which can be obtained from the same place as Oestrogel. I had a feeling that Chris dropped the Oestrogel because it is expensive and it had no real visible results. No one should take anything says Chris says ever again unless it involves someone or something being in real danger with a thorough explanation. Getting that dumb licence from perfectly sane people only serves to propagate his autistic or psychotic delusions even further.
No, her circulatory system cannot handle the side effects of estrogen any longer.
This has always been Chris' life philosophy, do nothing and get everything.
Chris only understands women as unnuanced individuals, who are a part of a stereotypical collective that get to stay at home, get approached sexually by everyone, and touch their own bodies all the time. Chris does not much care for the reality of being a true and honest woman. The same goes for trasngenders, in Chris' mind, the XY ones get to become gorgeous women that can bring the world to its knees and have hot lesbian sex.

Whoever would have thought that one could watch the Forgot the Glitter video of him twerking in the Walmart changing room and actually thought he looked incredibly healthy as opposed to now. In the past five years Chris has decayed horrendously.

Her age and relative immobility would increase her thrombosis risk. She's already in ill health. Unless she has a GP who is even older than she is and who hasn't read a medical journal in the last 40 years, she's not on HRT.

What I don't understand is why Chris doesn't actually see a doctor for hormones. I just did some research and found that Medicaid DOES cover hormones for the treatment of Gender Dysphoria Disorder...but in order for that to happen he'd have to actually stop fingering his new vag and go to the clinic. They'd end up seeing his infection and maybe he'd get treatment for it and actually be on the path to medical gender reassignment but that's not going to happen either. I'd be scared for him if he wasn't so delusional.
