Those clips at the beginning of that video aren’t evidence of any damning racism among vtubers. Filian’s comment “you’re all breathtaking; that was a quote from George Floyd” is edgy. Kiara saying nigger shouldn’t be that shocking. Despite her knowledge of English, she wouldn’t have the cultural context of that slur. It’s arguable that Hololive got popular because its vtubers didn’t know the significance of that word in the first place.

I get the claim of wanting more dark skinned assets as more art assets is a good thing in general, but I can tell that there’s going to be a problem with “ownership”. The creator of that video will cry racism if a white vtuber uses them when outside of a blackface scenario, it shouldn’t fucking matter! It’s an avatar, you can make your character whatever you want to be.

For Clarity I was referring to dating WITHIN the talents, my example was Mori and Kiara dating eachother, Not Kiara and Mori dating other people.

I don't care about talents dating, it isn't something that matters unless it begins affecting content, then it becomes a issue for the audience. Dating in company is always a bad idea and not something that would ever happen within HoloEN, maybe the Japanese branch had cases of that though.
