From how sad the producers and even Sam was acting, this feels more like Jon asked to leave than anything. There's no way they're going to make their first elimination one of the objectively most popular guys on the show.

This is what I’m now subscribed to. Even the cast are openly wondering why the elimination was today and not Friday.
 
I have my complaints about the show, but I have to admit...this is the most engaged I've ever been with a TV show. Heavy mood seeing Jon go home. I hope Hog is next. I'll be team Letty until it's time to jump ship for Josie. We know she will ultimately be the winner.
