How can someone lack self awareness to this extent? Ian built a platform on playing the offensive shock jock. He used to make 40 minute videos shitting on youtubers who did nothing to him. He unapologetically threw the hard R around like it was nothing. This isn't ancient history, it's like 5-6 years ago.

And yet here he is, calling out misogyny, marrying an e-whore, crying about Sam Hyde (who his 2016 self would have gotten along with), and just looking like a total cuck bitch for basically labeling the content that made him famous as "harmful". He appealed to a certain type of internet gremlins, and is now shocked that they've turned on him and are clowning on him for "growing up"?

One of the things that makes me fucking MATI is the fact that many of Ian's dickriders in his response video's comments mention how Filthy Frank/Joji changed his content when mentioning how he's "grown up", you can't fucking compare the two.
Joji constantly acknowledges his old content and its fans on his live shows even if what he makes nowadays is way different than his Filthy Frank/Pink Guy stuff, he doesn't pretend it never existed, or shit on people for liking it. It's clear he knows where he came from and he isn't ashamed of it.
What Ian has done isn't growing up, it's trying to hide his ass and pretend to be someone different from what he used to be just to try to look cool in front of people who aren't worth impressing. In the end his new "fans" will leave him after he eventually screws that up too and he'll have no one but Anisa, assuming she doesn't also leave him for whatever reason.
