I like the comment section, and I'll stay for that, especially the Wednesday open thread where people will often just post about their own lives. Also the two producers they've hired are pretty good.

Both of them (Katie in particular) have this kind of act they put on 'aw shucks who me!". Ultimately they're two former ivy leaguers who used to write for the most prestigious publications in the world, only to find themselves thrown out on their arses for wrong think over trans issues, and I suspect they are both still super pissed about it and have axes to grind. They also I think like to turn their noses up at their 11k paying subscribers who support them.

Larry is THE pro-gun author. Hell he just put out a non-fiction book "In defense of the second ammendment", and got his start as a writer literally putting out chapters on gun forums. He's also a former gun shop owner, and has some fairly impressive shooting skills. IOW, he's who "Gun guy patrick" is LARPing as.

Yeah, No. If theres one thing Larry is known for, its being assertive as hell, both online and in person. Especially when it comes to shitheels. Now he has been shunned by most of the SFWA alligned writer "community" but considering he's literally sold so many books he recently bought a mountain while Pattycakes can barely afford to keep his half-hovel I'm pretty sure Pat woukd trade lives faster than you can say niggeroni.

I have never seen this fat fag interact with anyone, ever, where he wasn't a complete choad. He even acts that way to people being polite to him.

Reddit's aversion to "brigading" still cracks me up to this day. "How dare non-regulars show up to talk about this -- our very special conversation -- in this -- our very special members-only club that's wide open to the public to anyone who registers an account for free and anonymously!"

They give Resetera a run for their money in terms of being ostensibly a "discussion forum" that actively discourages new users from joining or participating.
