I don't think it's a coincidence that Nick rewriting history to say his opinion of this site went downhill many months ago with the stuff being posted in the Ralph subforum comes only a couple weeks after he was partying with Dick in Philly. As multiple people predicted, Dick used his quick succession of meetups with Nick and Ralph to patch up the relationship between the pair. I'm pretty sure Ralph announced he had "squashed the beef" with Nick while still in LA. If not, it was right after he got back anyway.

Dick had been signalling months ago that he wanted to use a mutual hatred of what people were saying about them on KF as a way to mend ties. I think it was as far back as December that he was telling Nick that he should talk to Ralph after Nick had a whine session about people mocking him online.

I think they have successfully fed Nick a line where Ralph should not be held responsible for flipping out and saying the things he said about Nick because "they were trying to put meh in JAIL!" and Nick has been receptive because of how pissed off he is at the site.

What do you want Null to do, Nick? You want him to censor his website in a way you like because otherwise you will stop being his friend and helping him. That's against the whole point of the site. It's not Null's fault that people a-log you in your thread, that's what happens to every other person who is embarrassing himself on the internet by airing their dirty laundry.

Nick has surrounded himself with sycophant orbiters who have financial incentives to not give genuine advice or criticism. If you look at his guests the most frequent guest who doesn't appear reliant on runoff from Nick's channel is Dick, and he's not really going to be the source of tough love on this subject. You may recall that Nick's orbiters hounded out Legal Bytes and Hoeg Law when they were not willing to go through with the party line.

He also has Drexel as a close personal friend who is also aware of what Nick is up to in his streaming career, but he isn't going to provide helpful advice either. Many people, including me, thought late last year that Drexel might sit Nick down at some point and tell him to stop embarrassing himself, but that never happened and Drexel is now just as angry as Nick is at this thread. He might be even more angry than Nick is after the digging into his stories about his friend's daughter.

I do think it is the Locals logging that angers Nick because it used to be his favorite hugbox and people were spamming lewds in the chat, and I do think he puts the blame on the logs and wants @Himedall All-seeing Waifu banned.

I think the reality is that a simple Web 1.0 style chat was never going to drive engagement for long. Once the novelty wore off the level of activity was inevitably going to fall off as the chat got taken over by obsessives who spam it and do things like post lewds for attention, driving off more casual users. What the logging did was shine a light on the 2-3 dozen power users who had taken over the chat. It seems from what's been posted here that activity has fallen off and they've fled to Discord, but since there's tensions between the groups there's apparently multiple splinter servers.

Hedonism II is important because Nick keeps denying it and because it contradicts Nick's "having adventures in monogamy with my wife" narrative.

Trying to claim that Hedonism II has not been a swingers resort for decades (since the 1990s!) is just stupid. It's identified as such in news articles from the past several years and even on the front page of their site they proudly identify as "Lifestyle-friendly", a euphemism so obvious that it's barely even a euphemism.

It's so unbelievably stupid that I think when I watched that clip last night that I was kind of shocked. His copes are getting to the point where they aren't really tethered to reality. It's not even that he's being dishonest, because a skilled liar would not say something so fucking absurd.

Additionally, I doubt that anyone on either side is interested in a real conversation. I have my mind made up, and my mockery is not hurting anyone. No one has reported actual pizza deliveries, SWATting, or interference with their livelihoods. If anything, it exacerbated the cracks in the community dynamics and poured petrol on an already blazing bonfire.

I would not mind having a confidential and honest chat with Nick himself (if it were possible), but only from a place of idle curiosity and not any actionable motivation. I am curious what he would honestly say, but the knowledge that either of us could leak a DM or try to spin a narrative would spoil any actual value in the conversation. This is part of the reason that touching the cow is almost a universally bad idea and to be discouraged.

He's spun these grievances to coordinate the Farms towards a different narrative as if Null would've indulged such demands. He's certainly aware this site is for more than just simple banter. People here will get into a frenzy over their site owner being besmirched which is the intended effect.
