Hot take: I’ve never found Katie Herzog impressive and was pretty sure all my Kiwi friends who did were either nuts or screwing with me. Apart from the inaccuracies, the episode sucked from an entertainment perspective and was tedious to listen to. I guess gays aren't actually that witty.

B&R seems to be yet another "Let's stretch 5 minutes of Kiwifarms reading into 3 unfunny hours of audio" podcast. As is typical of that genre, the hosts fuck up when info isn't spoonfed to them and they don't offer a reason to plod through their meandering bullshit instead of just doing the reading. It's the Panera to Kino Casino's Taco Bell (because the dyke is thinner and better smelling).

This is really unfair to them. The work Jesse in particular has done on the lying and medical malpractice of pro-trans medical journal articles and doctors is groundbreaking. Internet drama is only part of what they do, there's literally no journalists out there who cover the lies of the trans lobby better than BAR.

I may have used "them/the hosts" a bit loosely. It was Herzog and the furfag who botched this. I'm familiar with Singal; he came across the most reasonably and seems to be the brains of the operation. Thoughts on Katie's defense of "Virtuous Pedophiles"?

My impression was that BAR ("Blocked and Reported", implying snarky Twitter shitflinging) is lighter content that doesn't involve his more scholarly work and approach, though it intersects with the same topics.

Again this is a misunderstanding of what the actual story was. Which was the swatting and Singh's poor attempt at investigative journalism, the details of which they largely got correct. They also touched on the allegations that Patrick swatted himself.

The wider public don't really give a shit about Patrick and most likely don't understand the interest. In fact the two episodes have gotten very little engagement from the Barpod subscribers. Their reddit is a little different.

Her Twitter trolling is more of her real content. Also making fun of her employee, Jesse.

Her published writing is fine but Jesse is more of what the Kiwi Farms audience would like there outside of just the troon stuff.

Her humor is far far more like the Kiwi Farms which is what makes the @jsingal69 jokes and stuff like troon Twitter saying Jesse was trying to scrub his Kiwi Farms posts work so well since their conspiracy theory is that Jesse hides all his deranged genocidal fascist stuff on his multiple Kiwi Farms accounts and in DMs while Katie just posts it under her name on Twitter and all anyone cares about is Jesse's posts that don't exist and that he's asked multiple people to share publicly when they claim to have evidence.

That's my thoughts as well, except the seething about being excluded on his own topic is short-term. But the joy of his inability to interact with anyone without making them hate him lives far longer. No one would give him an ounce of credit for his version of events once he started childing everybody.

So I want him to try, and watch it backfire horribly. Everybody wins when we get to watch Pat lose. Except for Pat, but he's fat.

Patrick S. Tomlinson has been SWATted more than 30 times. I think that breaks a record. Anyhow, a SWAT for hire service called TORSWATS has come forward to claim that Patrick paid to have himself victimized in order to create press, and others have speculated that he believes he might have his $50,000 judgement debt forgiven by the courts. Patrick denies this, but has knowledge of how self-SWATting would work that no other human who hasn't committed this crime could have. And he also allegedly faked a vandalism of his own motorbike, which was caught on camera. All of this is peculiar. A Redditor called him out in this fascinating exchange that went public. This is funny - he's clearly bitter that Tor is done with him and he's got two unfinished series. Maybe if he had completed the first one instead of shamelessly ripping off The Expanse to make money he wouldn't be trying to finish a Tiny Tim book that nobody wants.
