Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Oh no a Patriot battery got maybe damaged or destroyed, this maybe defeat of a Western God weapon shows how stronk Russia is no wait it shows how weak the West is no wait it's all just fake and gay contradictory heads I win tails you lose cope

The West is invincible Gods except when the West is weak pathetic nothings, actually it is both, depending on the cope needs of the moment

What a retarded world we live in, if you don't win a literally flawless victory you're utter shit. If you ain't first you're last! was supposed to be a joke about how trashy Ricky Bobby's dad was, now it's the only way to look at things

Pictures showing what makes up a Patriot battery and how it tracks targets. Edit: So far it seem the most damage the Russians had done to a Patriot battery was scratching the paint on one. That's as far as Ukraine, and USA are saying without violating OPSEC. Which is a problem with the Ukrainian locals filming everything and the dumber ones are posting online in spite of their govt and military telling them not to. In reference to yesterday's missile attack, the posted videos were giving away rough geo-locations of Patriot and other AA and SAM sites.

Zelensky with Sunak vs. Zelensky with Macron. He knows which is his friend and which isn't.
Obligatory reminder that Macron unilaterally tried to suggest surrendering Ukrainian territory to make peace, without ever asking them, while the UK have gone on the record saying Russia should eventually be pushed out of Crimea, even if it isn't necessarily realistic in the near term. As always fuck the garlic eating, soap dodging, nazi collaborating surrender monkeys.

The man is no doubt pissed that there's a major war going on and France is stuck on the sidelines, unable to gracefully capitulate to the aggressor nation.

If there's ever any danger that eastern European countries will waver in their support of Ukraine, you can count on Medvedev to remind them why this affects all of them:

At least he's honest about their intentions, I guess.

And I have to admit NATO does think of Russia all the time. The alliance is always thinking of more ways they can take advantage of this unbelievable blunder to fuck over Russia even harder for minimal cost.

And now, all the NATO countries go to bed at night, and wake up in the morning thinking of Russia
This is the logic of an exhibitionist, who whips his dick out on the train knowing someone will have to acknowledge them. It makes the sexual connotations about France all the more horrid to read.

As to the Patriot system damage, reports are that the US is determining whether to fix it in theater:

Alternate Universe Update: 5/14/23

Reports are that Mexican forces have received hundreds of Armata tanks and BMP-3's from Russia, as well as stealth cruise missiles from China which will allow them to attack targets in the US. It's widely believed Mexican forces will launch a counter-offensive in the coming days.

Meanwhile, in the US, M-47 Patton tanks were seen on a train headed to the front. US sources say these will be used primarily as artillery support.

In Cadereyta Jimenez (a town with a population under 80k, less than 80 miles from the US border), after months of hard-fought gains, US forces ceded several kilometers of territory to Mexican forces just yesterday.

Meanwhile there was report that Justin Trudeau got hospitalized after a visit to Washington D.C. Rumurs are circulating that he may be dead.

Other rumors say that Erik Prince is pulling out Blackwater forces after feuding with Lloyd Austin.

Hey, whoa let's be honest here and not a bunch of over dramatic fags.
Mexico would be getting T-90Ms or maybe T-80too-lazy-to-look-up-the-designaton not Armatas.

Looks like F-16s are a go after all!; the UK and the Netherlands will not only provide training but procurement as well:

Belgium is also involved in training the necessary pilots for the F-16:

Unless GD has scaled production upto full, they are unlikely to get enough F-16s to make a significant difference in theater.

Which segways nicely into the latest crowing in the Cope thread is about how Russia totally destroyed a patriot battery with a Kinzal hypersonic missile. First off, X to doubt. You would need waaaaay more then one lucky hit to take out an entire battery, since the individual launchers tend to be dispersed around a wide area. Example this picture.

This is maximum closeness spacing too. An entire Battery is 8 launchers just like this spread across an entire kilometer grid square, with its ECM control unit somewhere else nearby, also separate from the acquisition radar. Unless that Kinzal was carrying a tactical Nuke, it MAYBE destroyed a single launcher. Possibly two if it was REALLY lucky. If it hit the radar or ECM unit then it didn't hit the launchers at all because those are not kept by the launchers.
Counter point: This presumes the Ukrainians were actually deploying them per SOP and not doing slav things like deciding that's too much work.
counter-counter point: Ukrainians have spent the past 15 months showing they are the superior slav breed and are about to take and follow instruction.

Photo from Utah. Unknown if its the same tank or a different one. Same destination, though.
Different tank unless someone repaired the fenders on the first one.

Zelensky hugging Sunak: this Pajeet smells great. 10/10 would hug again

Zelensky hugging Macron: wow this frog smells the way I thought the Pajeet would. I think I'm gonna throw up. 2/10 STINKY
Is it any wonder, when Russian armor is stuffed with French hardware. Well, the "good" armor, anyway.

Macron literally huffed the copium of Frances "Intervention" in the Russo-Georgian war. Long story short, the Georgian Army was moving into defensive positions around Tbilisi after failing to secure the mountain passes. France then stepped in and negotiated an "end to the war", which essentially sold Georgia out in exchange for Status Quo Ante Bellum. But the real deep lore is the Russian Army had performed like absolute dog shit against the Georgian Army and to this day most of the soldiers who fought in it will say had the Russians even tried to take the Capital they would have been repelled. Much like how they were repelled from Kiev.

Needless to say this has led to some real bitterness in the Caucuses. Aimed especially at France, because once France had run back to NATO with their "peace deal", Georgia was fucked. If they didn't take it they were on their own. Ever since then no non-aligned power threatened by Russia has trusted the frogs. It should be noted this is also what prompted the UK to be far more assertive. The French did an end run around them in the Ossetian Crisis and they were not going to let it happen again. In many respects, the Russo-Georgian War was a dry run for this fiasco and all the lessons from it were incorporated. First lesson among them was not to listen to the fucking French.

Whats funny is NATO learned from that war and Putin did not. All the issues that have hamstrung the Ukrainian Invasion were on display back in 2008. Chief among them being how absolute crap the Russian Air Force was. They could not gain Air Superiority over GEORGIA. Yet inexplicably no effort was made in the ensuing decade since that fiasco to actual address the problems. To the point that now Russia is in peril of losing air superiority over a conflict zone to Ukraine. Its astounding.

I watched this video by Peter Zeihan. It gives an alternative take on the whole Bakhmut Prigozhin and the ammo shortage drama. It seems the Russians have been intentionally denying Wagner the ammo and supplies because they are unhappy with his performance. He has lost a ton of lives and has little to show for it. Zeihan says Prigozhin is not a very good commander. This brings me back to a point I made before about how fighting people in third world countries that are poorly armed and trained isn't like fighting against a well armed and trained military force. Wagner might have been a big deal in Syria against the poorly armed and trained groups there but against a better trained and armed force they aren't that great. You can see this with some of the Western volunteers that went over to Ukraine in the early part of the war. While the Russian military might not be all that great. It's still not like fighting against people in third world countries. The Western volunteers had kind of a shock at least with some of them. Dune coon insurgents aren't like the Russians.

So Prigozhin has pissed people in Moscow off and they are refusing to give him anything. According to Zeihan there is a power play involved. Prigozhin is trying to get a higher position. It's an interesting take on the situation.

The only countries Ukraine had that were all in on day one was the UK and Poland.
Do we have a Brit in the thread? Can you explain why the UK helps Ukraine the most in West Europe, despite being one of the furthest away countries from Russia? Is there just a big public support and politicians are using it for clout? But I also heard that niggers and brownies in the UK do not care - and are even annoyed by all attention - about this war. Not sure about Pajeets.
It seems the Russians have been intentionally denying Wagner the ammo
Do we even have enough proofs that the cook is speaking truth? I might remind you that he promised to pull out of Bakhmut on May 10. He is just not a trutworthy narrator.
Prigozhin is not a very good commander
He does not need to be. He is an owner and public speaker - not a general.

wtf am I looking at? Is that a WW2 era flack cannon welded to the top of a T54 chassis?
Na. It has too long of a barrel and that muzzle brake is definitely not WW2 vintage since drilling a bunch of relatively small holes like that takes time and effort WW2 Russia didn't feel like spending on kit. 1950s, I'd say.
