More post-jail sightings megathread

Presuming he has a switch without internet, good fucking luck. I bought a game for my kids the other day and it wouldn't launch without a system update.
I was wondering about that.
I haven't had a modern system since the Wii but yeah I was under the assumption they were all at least mildly online-dependent

I don't think the system will know if the console needs an update if you never connect it to the internet. Might make some newer games not work properly or have some bugs that games on up-to-date consoles won't have. If it was a brand new console, it likely already shipped from the factory with a fairly recent version of the firmware anyways, so it's probably a moot point.

That's weird I got a new game. not hooked to the online with this switch and it gave me the option to launch without update. The only thing that won't play offline are my eshop games because it has to verify that I actually own them. Maybe some cart games do it too but that is weird. Which game was it?

Pokémon: Let's Go Pickachu and Mario Kart 8 iirc.

Where in the World is Christian Weston Chandler?
Possibly stewing in his own misery in his room at gateway. If the last few sightings were a monthly field trip the home takes its tards on to go grocery shopping and one outing at a place they can be themselves. then we won't have a chance of seeing Chris again till June.

That's assuming the home hasn't banned Chris from the trips after it became clear people will gang stalk him on the outside.

System, I think. IDK, maybe I'm wrong and it wasn't mandatory. I don't play games on the Switch.
To be fair the third option isn't always as obvious if you're reading super fast or are a kid. But there's usually a third option there which says "play without update" or something like that. if internet is an option it's fine, switch doesn't have a browser or any kind of chat functionality. (I mean if you know how to properly manipulate the DNS settings you can find a secret browser but I doubt little kids are gonna know how to do that if they don't have internet anywhere else.)

There's a chance the wranglers at the location could just update the system for him and log the switch off the network again.

The current in store switches also probably have a pretty recent firmware.

I know there are some stores that will actually do the updates for you, either when you buy the console initially or you can bring in the console and pick it up the next day once any updates/installs are done, but I have no idea how common they are. I first heard about them a few Christmases ago, because parents were getting pissed at buying consoles for Christmas and then having to do updates rather than work right out of the box.

They won't do that

Unless Chris causes a scene in public

Or degenerate weens cause a scene in public

Or Chris notices the degenerate weens and gets upset about it on the van or back at the home

They will at least go through the motions of following procedure with Chris, and procedure says so long as he doesn't cause problems going out, or going out doesn't cause problems for him, it's a good thing for him to get out in the real world at least semi-frequently

Somehow slow in the internet for slow in the minds sounds about right for the whole situation
Seems appropriate given just how resistant that Chris has been to any notion that he is a slow-in-the-mind. Chris, after all, did say that he did not want to wake up to "droning moaning and blather coming from the face next to [him]," and his recent love of that very thing put him into the situation that he is in now.

was going through their own mess with a trans rapist in one of their schools
Kid wasn't trans, just a rapist.

A friend of mine used to work at Chesterfield Towne Center and apparently there are a handful of mentally ill people who get dropped off there to wander around and bother staff and never buy anything. Chris should link up with them - except the most notable ones were niggos, and we know how he feels about those.

It's not unusual for people in halfway homes to spend all day panhandling since most are either not allowed to have a job or are unable to get a job and some aren't even allowed to handle money.
They use the money for alcohol and cigarettes which they also aren't allowed to consume, that's the level of shits the system gives about them. Some people commit a crime days after getting released into a halfway home or just run away and good luck catching them.
Chris is out and clearly has some amount of money and freedom on how to spend it and let's be honest there isn't a Chris look alike crossdresser located entirely within the area.
Chris got told not to go online and is likely too stupid to figure out that he could go online without anyone in the system figuring it out (as long as he doesn't tell everyone who he is) so Chris being Chris its only a matter of time.
Also Chris may now be aware that chat ai exists and if that's the case we may have lost him forever

iirc he was wearing a skirt

Wasn't trans. Was wearing a skirt. Was a rapist.
I know people who work in that school system.

Also, while Loudoun is technically in closer to proximity to Greene County than Richmond, they might as well be three states away culturally. I doubt most Loudouners would know where Greene County is.

Not a lot of crossdressers in general, let alone Chris-Chan looking ones. He's going to stick out like the sorest of thumbs.
