Just the fact that he never refers to any classic Genesis titles aside from Sanic confirms it to me. He never mentioned the Genesis Aladdin, Contra: Hardcorps, Castlevania: Bloodlines, Golden Axe, Comix Zone, Shinobi 3, Gunstar Heroes, Ristar, Rocket Knight Adventures, Kid Chameleon, Splatterhouse 2 and 3, Vectorman, Toejam and Earl, and others I could be forgetting but these are common tent pole titles normies know of.

Yes, I know he mentioned Contra: Hardcorps and Castlevania: Bloodlines but that was in overall highlight reels of both franchises and he doesn't go into a terrible amount of detail for either game other than saying "Yeah, they're good... But I still prefer my SNES!"

James and Mike played the original Genesis Toejam & Earl 9 years ago and the modern remake 4 years ago.

James doesn't explicitly say when he owned the game or when he got his Genesis, but it's obvious he knew the game well and Mike didn't. It seems odd looking back for Bimmy of 9 years ago to be teaching Mike a game.

I stand corrected. I do think he barely played any Genesis games still but that might have been one he played at a friend's house?

I was thinking about it and if there's a drive for new AVGN's to be 25-30 minutes long to cram in as much ad views as possible then James/Screenwave are still fucking up by just adding pointless filler. If you pardon my Earthworm Jim sperging, there was a lot to talk about there and the review was all surface. If you're going to make the videos unnecessarily long then at least justify it by being truly comprehensive. Yes, yes, I know, "No time for that" I get it. But it's just sad and it would justify posting a new AVGN every 2-3 months.

Apparently Kieran had another bitching stream with his GF where he said he had no interest telling his side of the story on their podcast and seems to be lumping EJ and Frankie in with the TCT alogs.

I think it'll be a very passive comment mentioning the movie and that'll be it and such a video would focus much more on other "accomplishments" like episode 200 and the Rocky 4 video and other BS.

I have seen Screenwave shilling AVGN movie merch at conventions.

I don't really recall any AVGN or Cinemassacre channel videos actually referencing the movie prior to me personally stop watching content around Episode 200 or so.

We addressed this before in this thread. What makes someone a lolcow is not just their actions but the actions of those within their sphere. Does that make sense? So this thread is about James not caring and fucking up videos, Screen Wave hijinks, and also cringe from fanboys and anti-fanboys ala Cinemassacre Truth.

It's all encompassing.

Maybe the thread should just be renamed to a general Cinemassacre thread itself since It seems to bother people so much that James himself seems to be the focus? James is far from the biggest fuckup compared to the other slobs and drama, would that be more suitable?
