I don't know a single kiwi who believes that Byuu faked his death "to get away from the harassment". The running theory is that he did it for attention and to ditch his old persona.

That said, all evidence, logical and governmental, points to him being alive.

I still don't exclude the possibility that he killed himself and it he did so before communication with Null started (there is one suicide in the report that would fit). Communication with Null and the entire campaign could've been done by someone else who knew him.

He's still wrong about that. He's referring to Squarepusher / Twinaphex / Daniel de Matteis (changes his name often) of Retroarch who talked shit about him in IRC which got "leaked" on RetroarchLeaks, another cow in his own right (dead thread in PG (onion)) but he didn't harass him in any way.

Like I said, the official narrative keeps changing all the time and no matter what it is, it's guaranteed to be wrong.

And how many of those friends had met him in real life? How many of them knew what he looked like? How many of them would know if he was dead if, instead of being told the story of his suicide - a story that is 100% provably a lie - he'd just stopped posting online under a handle they recognised? Because that's what the real question is. We know the suicide story, as told, is not true, and those not true details have been doubled and tripled down on by the people telling the story.
