Watching roboco's live rn. Great performances and guest lineup - loved the duets with Kanata and Azki. Her husky voice is really underrated. Always loved Roboco's Cinderella dress outfit but her new twin tail casual/sporty outfit fits her perfectly

On the Vei controversy, I actually have to agree with Kuri Rinji, in that I may not care for Vei's content, or even Vei as a person, but she is actually pretty based for this, and I fully back her. She's basically telling the Twitter freaks and terminally online to kick rocks, cope seethe and dilate, and touch grass and I'm fully okay with that. She's basically waving it in their faces that there's nothing they can really do to her, and she's uncancellable.

Yeah, my bad, I thought she was rallied against for attempting to play HogLeg, but nope. Her official reasoning is that she didn't want to extend her contract with Vshojo since 1) she has a lawyer and 2) she didn't like the stipulations of said contract - but seeing how much she went ham on the Twatter crowd, I wouldn't be surprised if the wizard game was a factor.

Were the auditions ever closed? I think it's just a reminder since they opened up audition permanently. I remember a tweet in 2022(?) about the permanent opening but twitter search sucks ass and doesn't let me find it.
But maybe the reminder is an indicator that they are looking for the en Gen 4 and they really announce Gen 3 at the the big EN concert in July

While i want a En3 sooner rather than later, then announcing it during the big hololive english event might leave a bad taste in my mouth, given how they do it. I think part of it is just a reminder, and maybe a more pointed attempt to get more girls to apply, which would coincide with a new gen dropping soonish. The form specifically mentions under the gender question, "Please note that this audition is for 'hololive English,' which features only female characters." whereas the permanent auditions page at https://audition.hololivepro.com/en is a separate form for hololive productions as a whole and mentions nothing of the sort. I feel like if it were only a reminder, there would be no point to having a separate form that more or less excludes male applicants.
