I think that Jessi have some legit mental issues, since the 'you dun goofed' era. Years and years of trolling and shitty parenting only could end in this mess. The girl never had a chance to talk to someone who isn't her batshit parents, internet trolls or her Tumblr echochamber. Jessi needs a well balanced adult on her life. She needs terapy.

I don't think Jessi can really be expected to learn anything at all. I genuinely think that for some kids, bad parenting rewires the way their brains work. She hadn't even hit adolescence before her moronic parents more or less poured gasoline on her and handed her a match. There's no way she's ever going to grow out of her lowcowness.
I also still wish we could put Dahvie Vanity in jail. Forever. Burn all extant examples of his music, beat with a stick everyone who knows him but hasn't gut punched him, torch his house and salt the earth where he was born. But I also feel that way about all crunkcore musicians so such wishes may not have anything to do with the topic at hand.

I suspect the "age rule" is there to cover the site's ass. If there are any photos of minors on here, any of the salty bitches that want to shut this site down can scream "CHILD PORN!" and get it shut down. I used to lurk on a gay forum, and any photos of anyone under 18 would get taken down, ASAP. One forum member posted a photo of some guy from American Idol (the obviously closeted Mormon one, IIRC) when he was 16, and it was removed within minutes, even though the guy was fully clothed.
