Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

And even in the USSR samizdat was a thing. The KGB weren't everywhere despite their claims, and the FSB is possibly even drunker, stupider, and lazier than they ever were. Go ask @Astro Galactic Megalul on how awe-inspiring the FSB's ability to keep him from shitposting is. Heck, you've got guys like Gulagu semi-openly pointing out Putin's human rights abuses. It doesn't matter if the state media is fellating Putin because word gets out despite that and despite them. Yeah, there's no end of vatniks eager to see hohol blood shed, but there's also plenty of other ones despairing at what Putin's made of their nation.
Even the Stasi couldn't manage to stop it and they made the KGB look like rank amateurs.

I don't think there's any security agency on Earth, even Yezhov's NKVD or North Korea today, that ever achieved such total mass surveillance or such effective use of surveillance technologies as the Stasi did.

I think the invasion of Taiwan would not impact the Ukraine aid. They are entirely different theaters of war, and the war over Taiwan would primarily be fought with the Air Force and Navy.
On a related note, isn't the only reason we have a gorillion tanks, and other such gear, to fight Russia? Apart from Russia, China is the only main party NATO needs to project its power to, and I doubt they give a shit about how many tanks and such the US has, as opposed to the state of the fleet. Dealing with sandman insurgencies is more about quality than quantity.

If (a sizeable if) this war goes according to NATO's dream plan, and Russia is no longer as much of a threat for a while, I doubt they'll even re-produce as much of this ground gear they're sending. Makes more sense to pour that money into stuff to threaten Chinaman. I'd put my money on shipbuilders for the next decade or so.

Also North Korea. So basically Russia.

Anti-missile defenses being heavily scrutinized and continously upgraded is something that have the ChiComs shitting bricks. As their best shot of keeping the US Navy pulling a Warriors' Come Out and Play is their hypersonic missiles. Which the U.S. military along with NATO and the rest of the interested parties are getting the juicy data at shooting those down from this conflict.

Australian company SYPAQ has received a surge in interest in some of its in the Asia-Pacific region; in particular because of cardboard unmanned aviation systems used by Ukraine in hostilities. The light and small logistic aircraft for the battlefield is called the Corvo Precision Payload Delivery System (PPDS).

SYPAQ has informed that the aircraft has various applications such as the deployment of a sensor payload, ability to deliver small cargo, act as an extended communications airborne relay, and serve as a decoy.

“Hundreds of the UASs have been sold to Ukraine,” said Ross Osborne, chief engineer at Sypaq.

Deliveries to Ukraine began in February-March 2023. The company added that it could not disclose the number of UAVs delivered to Ukraine for security reasons. The sale of UAVs to Ukraine was announced by the Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister of Australia Richard Marles at the Australian Avalon Airshow on March 3, 2023.
I imagine these things would make good loitering and/or kamikaze drones, probably with a larger payload & range than the small quad FPV drones; sort of like the Switchblade 600 you have at home.

Shit like this genuinely makes me seethe. Putin's invasion of Ukraine is entirely based on opposing the collective West with US at the helm, yet this broad has the gall to do this while enjoying the privilege of living in US. How the fuck does one reconcile it in their head? Obviously, vatniks are too damn retarded to have any logical consistency.
Deport.

It's insane that after you abandoned your glorious motherland to go live in cozy suburban home in the degenerate collective West, you still have the audacity to shit on it while there and propagandize the very thing you escaped from.

Consider our very own cope thread, Its not hard to believe these people are out there. Russian Propaganda has been very effective at speaking to the "free thinkers" in our society.

IMO the actual hallmark of someone capable of actual "deep thunks" is the ability to commune with the future rather then the past or present. The ability to ask "What is next". We can even give it a nice Latin phrase so it sounds even more important. Quid insequitur?

Too many people have failed to ask "What happens after Russia wins in Ukraine?" Will Ukraines fall destroy globohomo? No. Actually I think it will make Globohomo even more powerful. The eastern flank of Europe will start shitting itself. Where before they were often the hardest resistance to EU Overreach, now they will happily hop on that dick. The EU may even get its dearest wish, the ability to form the Union Army the French have been masturbating about for the last three decades. The US Military Industrial complex would likewise be given new life, along with all the three letter agencies and their glowies who will have guaranteed jobs until retirement. Probably to deal with all the "Free Thinkers" on the internet who support Russia.

There is also the question as to whether or not life will improve for the Ukrainians? What happens next for the people of Ukraine if Russia wins would be grim. You don't see that question being asked in the cope thread, they are still huffing their own farts about how this war is a liberation. Considering the amount of vitriol from even them, let alone Russian nationalists, I would say if there isn't another Hohol-Holodomer, that would be the best people in Ukraine could hope for.

What about whats next for Russia at this point? It would be the Monkeys Paw wish for the conquest of Ukraine. They would inherit a blasted landscape with no economic potential left and millions of very angry peasants. The Soviet Stockpiles the Russian Federation has relied on for decades to stave off NATO will have been depleted with no easy answer for how to replace them. Its very likely Russia will slip into China's orbit. Especially once Putin is dead and buried. The ability of the Central Government in Moscow to assert control over the regions has been severely curtailed due to the losses Russia has already sustained and will sustain to carry their SMO to completion. Again, not a question the "Free thinkers" are pondering.

They are completely caught up in the moment. Which is why Bakhmut is such a totem for them. It just happened.

It's also not a tactic Russia has an easy answer for.
It really isn't. Ukraine can't openly deploy forces to attack Russia, especially with Western equipment. So Russia doesn't need more than a light screening force to repel proxy threats.

In a sense Ukraine is still playing catch-up. Russia has had the freedom to openly send forces across the border, now Ukraine can do a little bit. It's definitely a better situation, but not catastrophic or decisive.

Reminds me of a certain person if she actually spoke Russian.

Disagree. We have plenty of examples to show that the willingness to speculate does not make someone intelligent.

Nor does an accurate prediction make someone smart, as they say even a broken clock can be correct sometimes. But I can say for sure that if somebody keeps failing to predict the past and present (Bakhmut by November!), they aren't worth listening to.

"Ours" lol. WTF did you have to do with it? She sounds like one of those retards on Reddit who LARP as General Sherman or those white supremacists who claim "white history" they had absolutely zero part in creating (and if Germanic in ancestry were living in African-grade stick-mud-shit huts at the time).

To be fair, I was not talking about intelligence. I was talking about a capability for critical thinking. :tomgirl:

Thats what most retarded immigrants do, well to be fair. its mostly the second generation. They don't know how shit their homeland is and pine for it, and think they can shit on their hosts, resulting in https://www.globalcomment.net/leban...lly-motivated-pack-rapes-of-australian-girls/

Its one good reason why immigration of foreign cultures in "large" numbers is bad. You say this and suddenly you are racist, yet everyone is shocked when what I've linked to happens.

Some people are so small and pathetic, they have to vicariously live through things they don't even have direct relation to, like parasites. That's how you get we wuz kangz and Russian migrants in America claiming ownership of Bakhmut.
Regimes capitalize on this flaw in human nature and promise greatness you could belong to in exchange for loyalty and surrender of freedom. It's the ultimate trap for the feeble-minded.

It's a trick that makes people substitute genuine sense of self-worth with group identity, effectively becoming its hostage, dependent on the disembodied external entity. And unless one realizes it and breaks free, they'll be stuck in a loop of lying to themselves and justifying anything in order to preserve their identity. It's like a fucking hivemind, internalized oppression, if you will.
The implication of being wrong would shatter their entire world, so they desperately cling to what they know, or more precisely have been indoctrinated into, so that doesn't happen.
I almost fell into that trap myself at some point, it inoculated me against bullshit.

Imagine living in a time period where America's historical worst enemy that globally promoted America's antithesis ideology, communism, was not only talked about warmly by the very same people who identified them as an existential threat during the Cold War and USSR, but had these red-blooded Patriots that sometimes might even claim we actually won Vietnam, go on to openly side with that nation and actively attack the nation that has picked up arms in the name of liberty against an invading oppressor? Can you imagine? Where that nation, in this war, warmly reminisced about the USSR, had tanks fly USSR flags in memory, and have these stolid conservatives only look on and clap?

Everyone is nuts.

If "For Nation and Homeland" style slogans ever meant anything from this faction of the right, it doesn't anymore. So much for nationalism when you reject Ukraine's.

It's like, why would you argue with someone with political tattoos? They are so invested that if they changed their mind their body would be covered with contrary imagery. These people never could admit they are wrong. They will pretend they are right even if they stop believing it.

It'll be interesting to see what they can squeeze out of this platform.

My initial impression is the prop and motor seem undersized in the photos but if they can get a 5 kg all-up-weight that might be enough for some explosives, depending on the range (and therefore battery size) they're expecting.

If all else fails they can rig a mechanism to cause a lithium fire in the batteries.

I know smaller fixed-wing "foamie" drones (e.g., 2.4 meter wingspan) are being used for what I presume is ISR purposes but unfortunately they haven't been getting much media exposure.

What I would love to see is for someone to mount pylons and rockets onto some of these platforms.

Ukrainian seaborne drones hit Russian reconnaissance vessel, the Ivan Khurs.

As usual they were sent in multiples, but of course the Russians didn't mention it, except that they hit one.

Taiwan should definitely be taking notes.

Taiwan should definitely be taking notes.
I guarantee you they are, and are no doubt coming up with new and ingenious ways to use and build drones considering how technologically developed that island is. They're probably more interested in airborne than floating ones, given the absolutely horrid currents and rock outcroppings in that strait. Not that aquatic ones wouldn't be useful, but definitely a niche littoral defense role instead of a broader attack one.

This is why the US needs to deport a lot of people.

They don't know how shit their homeland is and pine for it, and think they can shit on their hosts
Vietnamese women in LA and SF are notorious for this and are using their positions in big tech and hollywood to actively silence and attack the local euro descendants. They almost always have rich, white boyfriends/husbands and never went to vietnam.
