The only reason there's an update today about R60 is because of Hosk's medium post and it getting good signal boosting. Hosk should write next week when John misses that deadline he just posted about.
Johnny has until the end of August. He should keep this controlled pace, you don't want Wu to tune you out or to lose your signal boost as your supporters get bored.

Actually, IIRC one of the main theories behind why GSK ever existed was Flynt intended for it to only make the one game - R60 - and then exploit the shit out of backchannel review connections to make the PoS look good, which in turn would allow Flynt to sell off GSK and the R60 'franchise' at a tidy profit, becoming eternally idolized like Notch or Phil Fish (the latter only so far until it was made common knowledge he fucking stole the majority of what became Fez and he didn't have any fucking plans to make a sequel for a game he didn't actually make the majority of in the first place...sounds familiar, don't it?)

Is not a theory, he clearly stated in a interview that the main reason he made GSK was to sell it to a big company, ironically the first one he mentioned was EA

Again a lie , why im not surprised

Guys, do you know what just happened? We've found the first honest thing Brianna Wu has ever said.

Why is that footage so complicated and difficult?

Yes it has a shit load of layers, but most are just scaled down and rearranged videos which takes 5/10 minutes to do.

And being a video game trailer, these keyframe lines can only be movement or opacity, no proper visual effects.

While it looks complex, that segment could be done in a couple hours (including watching footage) max.

'most complicated piece of footage' shes ever worked on is the sum total of 3 days work? lmao
Starting to wonder, she's so deep in entitlement and privilege that maybe she doesn't even realise most people tend to work 5 days a week. (And that's real work, not 4.5 days tweeting and an hour or two googling stack overflow to try and polish up the graphics on level 4)

Would love to see some quotes from the unfortunate souls who had to do all the work at the GameStop store in Denver while Flynt/Wu ran around the shop shrieking like a pre-op tranny about whatever problematic topic was troubling him that day.

I'm thinking that the odds are pretty good that Flynt/Wu was actually fired from the only real job he's ever had.

Wait, when did Flynt end up in a GameStop in Denver? I honestly don't recall this bit of info.

EDIT: I just noticed that picture has an "add tags" section. Someween should add some :epik:
"Brianna Wu"? "Revolution 60"? "John Walker Flynt"?

I believe she was living rent-free with her aunt at the time after getting disowned by her parents, and that's when she was working at GameStop.

Do you have links to proof that Phil Fish plagiarized most of Fez? I always found him to be lolcow material especially in that Indie Game movie, and I find it particularly amusing that even the one game he made wasn't even really his work. Besides, it always felt like he left the bulk of the work to the poor sole programmer that's slaving away in the background while he acts like an exceptional individual and commits PR suicide in the meantime.

It should be noted that not long after this went public, Fish tried to bow out of the indie scene entirely to avoid the inevitable shitstorm that was inbound. Last I recall he was a DJ at some minor SJW event last year and outside of still being bitten in the ass by more GG drama hasn't been in the news ever since.

Well the difference between Dues Ex and Rev 60 is simple.

One team has actual, trained game developers and software engineers on it and the other team has an imaginary person, a screaming idiot and a someone whose greatest skill is lying about their past on it.

I'll let you guess which is which.
One had a John who will make you his bitch
The other had a John who IS a bitch

Agree.

That screen capture looks like a chimp on crank was turned loose in Final Cut Pro.

It also appears that Flynt/Wu has spent three days to produce significantly less than three minutes of video -- and that less than three minutes isn't finished. If he was employed by a real company, he'd be fired -- and possibly beaten with sticks -- for working at this pace.
