Furry Fandom and Drama General

Both kangaroos and thylacines (Tasmanian tigers) are far cooler than dingos in the Aussie animal department IMO.

Back on topic, that shit would be more appropriate if he was running a souvenir shop in Australia.
Best not to make your business mascot something extinct unless its well known like a dinosaur.

God dammit Terra take that mascot head off!

Sometimes these centaur types get so out of hand, I don't know whether it's a wolf or a centipede!

Today at work, as I headed to lunch, I saw a grown twenty-something man walk by wearing a large thing, hanging from the back of his pants. It sort of looked like a thick styrofoam tube of some kind, so my first thought was that he had attached a piece of packing material to his belt for comic effect, or perhaps, I thought, he'd lost a bet. But then the horror/realization slowly dawned on me that I had just seen a furry wearing an artificial wolf tail.

:'(

It happens to anyone.

I sorta blame Ted Nugent for starting that trend!

I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that reading through the story, I thought you were going to say artificial penis instead of a tail, or that I wouldn't actually be shocked to read a story about a furry publicly displaying an artificial penis.

Spanish couple demand to be allowed to name son "Wolf"

MADRID (AP) — A couple in Spain have started an online petition after registry officials refused to let them call their newborn son the Spanish word for "Wolf."

The father, Nako Javierre, says in a letter accompanying the petition that he and his wife Maria decided on the name because of "our love for this animal."

But he says the Fuenlabrada registry office in Madrid earlier this month refused to accept the name because it could be "offensive" for their son. They later said "Lobo" was a surname in Spanish and could cause confusion.

The parents noted that the name is acceptable in other countries and hope to use the petition to back their argument in court. The petition had just over 2,000 supporters Thursday.

There was no immediate comment from officials.

Of course I'm sure the parents have no real idea what they're getting into by using Lobo in the first place. Now I'm thinking Sheriff Lobo already!

Lol @ these Communist shitholes that tell you what you're allowed to name a child that popped out of your snatch.

They could have called him the Latin word for wolf, Lupus. Probably better to have a name that is associated with a medical disorder than fucking "lobo". Lobo sounds plain stupid.

How about Lupo (Italian), that always sounds cool to me?

Or they could choose to not be retarded and just give him a normal name like Marco or Fernando and use Lobo as a nickname or middle name.

But expecting furries like that to not be fucktards is like expecting them to hide their fetishes; it ain't gonna happen.

The werewolf named Lupin from Harry Potter has semi-passable name. People who are savvy to it would think they just like Harry Potter, way before jumping to the conclusion the parents are furries.
Or into anime (or have read the Maurice Leblanc novels, and only then that would be a stretch).
