He put out like 2 episodes that were kinda decent after that dude stopped doing his editing but this latest one is just the laziest, most awful shit. At a certain point I said to myself "I bet this video is exactly 20 minutes long" and it's 20:59.

Fluff in this video:
- Jim showing off his beating women trophy belt for several minutes.
- Jim trying to recount lyrics to a song in a bit that feels like it goes on forever.
- Jim reads off user reviews from Metacritic.
- Jim plays a sequence from the movie Left Behind as part of a non-joke.

Probably half of its runtime has absolutely nothing to do with the content.

He could have easily filled 20 minutes by talking about how Blizzard's scandals leading up to the BlizzCon where they were in desperate need of a distraction from the "Don't you have phones?" and "Mei supports a free Hong Kong" shit. When it was announced, they had zero gameplay footage. The game was basically just a concept. It only existed to get eyes off their Chinese relations - and it worked.

Fast forward a few years and nobody is playing the game. He doesn't even mention that. They scrapped PvE because it would have only served to make competing game inside a game that already has a dwindling pool of users where it needs 10 to even make a match. They reduced the play count from 6v6 to 5v5 to save on those 2 players.

Instead of going over the actually interesting history of the game the dude bilks his retard tranny fans for some patreon bux and shits out the laziest fucking garbage imaginable.

This post took more effort than his video. Fat pillhead faggot.

That will require him to discuss video games and not himself which he can not do.

I don't remember when that point happened to me. I wanna say sometime around 2015 when he released his Fallout 4 review. At the time he gave the game a good review because it allowed him to be in a poly marriage with a mutant.

I remember thinking back then that the only reason he was doing that was because it validated his weird fetishes and that there were real problems with the game itself that he completely glossed over in favor of what was probably a bug.

I hadn't liked him a long time before that. He always seemed like a disingenuous lard ass who immigrated to the US specifically to bitch about the country. While I could disagree with Totalbiscuit, I never doubted the man had principals even if some of them were fucking stupid. With Sterling I always got the feeling it was a grift and a fetish and were I knowledgable about the Kiwifarms back then I would have been hate watching even back then.

for me it was somewhere in 2019. like i used to be a loyal follower, always sharing and speaking up about how he was actually really good and had some very good points. but man it was quick for me, i stopped caring about monday and a bit before he turned pink i just stopped watching.

There is a fine line between something being boring and being a waste of time, even at the most repetitive it at least stayed on the same topic and had a point even if was "capitalism bad" or going on about his hate boner for Kotick or Guillemot. Its why I compared it to excessive reviewer skits because so much of this episode has nothing to do with the actual topic and is just inane bullshit, if I still watched JQ to get my weekly dose of corpo bashing (I know someone who does) I'd be genuinely annoyed that so much of it was dumb filler.

I forgot exactly when I regarded Jim as a waste of time, but I honestly stopped caring around the time TotalBiscuit succumbed to his cancer. IIRC my thought about him was "he occasionally says something insightful but he comes across as an abrasive ass", and I've had other personalities to fill me in on gaming news anyway. 2017-18 or thereabouts is when I pretty much gave up.

Not to be that guy or anything, 'cause TB should have gotten checked, but you got discovered at 40 because you were getting a routine colonoscopy. That's still 20 years earlier than the average age of men who get colon cancer. As funny as it is to laugh at the lolcow there really isn't any medical expectation that he should have had colon cancer at his age. I mean he was diagnosed 30 years younger than the average patient. The odds of whatever was happening being colon cancer were extremely slim.

TB had intestinal symptoms for months before getting checked, including bloody stool and constant constipation. He said it himself in one of his podcasts (I think it was one of the soundcloud ones?): if he had gotten checked up a couple weeks into the first symptoms he would have had a much less difficult time with the cancer.
