If they’re losing money where are they getting the funds for these trash American traditionals anyways?

Murican trad are designed to be the quickest, laziest tattoo style, specifically to get through a port full of sailors that arrive all at once, it's all heavy once pulled lines and very limited colours and single tone shading.

Back in the old days studios used to streamline these by having one artist on lines and one on shading and colour. You can factory produce this shit when you're running out of booze money.

Ergo they are THE cheapest style of work.

They're also designed simple to look good on hairy arms that see a lot of sun.

Anisa is the type that would shit on the style if they weren't fashionable. "It's too cartoony!" was something we heard from these birds all the bloody time, right up until it became print for a big fashion brand. Also most people that actually appreciate old school designs go for new school tattoos, because it's all the same concepts/meanings but done a lot slower with far more modern techniques and colour ranges, a natural evolution of the style. The only time actual tattoo people go for these is to get a specific artists design or an old relatives design as a nod to them, otherwise it's ALL posers.

She's not actually into tattoos, she's into looking like she's into tattoos and I'd bet my life savings that her artist laughs at her and sees her as an easy mark.

I'll give you an example of how much he cares; an old school eagle takes me under an hour to design from scratch, meanwhile it's new school equivalence takes at least 6 hours and has to be designed to fit a specific muscle region, it cannot be slapped just anywhere the ditzy e-girl chooses on the day. When you actually like your clients you plan shit well in advance so shit looks fair still ten years down the line when all the inks spread, you size it all up and make shit flow with the specific individuals musculature... You see any of that? Kek.

No shit you tard, it can be both as sometimes one person makes it out to be off limits but if the other person says it's ok, then it's in limbo.
