I think it's very obvious DeSantis will support unnecessary military intervention, while Trump explicitly will not. Shapiro is very much in line with the pro-war Republican establishment, who, shockingly, appear to be pushing DeSantis.

I believe the technical term is "shabbos goy", although the way I've viewed it is that Walsh is Christian and Ben is Cyrano de Bergerac.

It's clear that the over-prominence of Jews in both leftist politics and the medical field makes the growing opposition to transness potentially "bad for the Jews". In Walsh's documentary, as an attempt to get ahead of this, the moderate anti-trans doctor he interviews is a Jewess, Miriam Grossman. In the interview, Walsh has one camera angle, while Grossman has two: the usual angle, and a close-up in profile, for no apparent reason other than so that you can identify the shape of her nose. It was an odd directorial decision, and I can only surmise that he was motivated by trying to associate Jewishness with biological realism, as a counterbalance to Doctor Shekelstein etc.:

I don't blame Ben for trying to protect his own nation by controlling its reputation. No outsider is going to look after your own nation for you, despite what "internationalists" will tell you.

There's a lot of right wing/right leaning Jewish stuff right now. Substack is full of Jewish writers. Podcasts are full of Jewish guests. Many are anti-woke explicitly.
And all are always pulling a full stop complete brakes when it comes to ethnicity and racial aspects.

I really don't get all the outrage over Barbie.

I get it, people expected it to be a lighthearted comedy movie and it ended up being woke trash, but has Barbie as a toy line been relevant in ages? I feel like action figures and dolls are more for the nostalgia of parents than toys for kids and getting upset about some retarded movie like Barbie just seems dumb to me. I'm not saying they shouldn't give their thoughts on it, just that I don't think it really needs more than just saying it was a shitty movie that ended up being woke crap instead of something fun for the family like Shrek.

It’s very simple:

1) There was nothing about the marketing that gave away the fact that it was going to be woke trash and about RAHRAH PATRIARCHY
2) Barbie slash Oppenheimer memes.

People thought it was going to be some movie along the lines of Lego Movie but IRL and that since Ryan Gosling was in it and the visuals are cool might be corny but iconic, and it’d be a great contrast to Oppenheimer.

then it turns out that the marketing managed to lie entirely as far as what the movie was about (point 1) so it completely ruined the fun of it being paired with Oppenheimer (point 2)

That’s why people are extra pissed. If people had known from the start it was going to be woke trash like the new Snow White movie no one would have paid attention to it
