This is because you're confusing Linux with GNU. Desktop "Linux" is GNU/Linux, with GNU being the defining part of the desktop experience. Android is absolutely Linux as much as whatever you use on your desktop, server or TV is.

but seriously, yes, form a technical standpoint it is linux, but refering to android users as "linux users" is abotu as accurate as calling anyone who uses anything with linux in it a linux user. is someone who uses a medical device with an embedded version of linux in it now a linux user? unless we are so autistic that we take everything literally, we all understand that the term linux user applies to people who use it as an actual OS and not jsut anyone who hapens to use a device with some form of linux on it.

I swear, I have never seen Redhat users troon out. I think as long as Null sticks to Redhat distros (like CentOS) he should be fine.
 
You know, I decided to take a day off from sneeding, a bit of a detox, and you guys can't even keep it together for five minutes. At least we're getting memes. This is why I use Windows. I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

In my circle of friends, he always seemed more knowledgeable than Linus on many subjects... just a bit of an awkward nerd. Not a loved on screen personality, but not hated. I'll be interesting to see how hard he leans into the identity thing and how that changes with the normies.

These motherfucking obesoid deathfat fucks are literally thinking that trooning out makes them more socially acceptable. Literally nobody tolerates terminally obese males, they are always bullied, or at least this is what I saw growing up. You'll always get pushed to rise up to the male standards and "go to the fucking gym you absolute slob you disgust your dad and you disgust me clean up your desk you have crumbs of food on the bed and keyboard shape up or we gonna throw you out of the house".
But if you're a woman, you'll still be treated like a lady, sometimes, and you'll get a modicum of respect from others, and "you don't tell a lady about her weight and age".
Absolutely disgusted myself and disappointed. He was pretty good with hardware, testing and reviews. Not all males are sporty types, just take advantage of what you have. Working at Linus is a dream job for a fat nerd. Being appreciated by others online is also an ideal scenario. He should've been happy with this and should've started to diet some so he doesn't die at 45. What a fucking idiot sperg.
