The difference is that Obama actually had some charisma and stage presence, unlike DeSaster, but we might be past the point where that even matters.I think the elite realize this which is why they want to push DeSantis as a sorta conservative Obama, a young guy who gathered a following and had good intentions at first but was easy to bribe.
DeSantis' charisma is being against the current social zeitgeist. In practice, it's debatable that he would have any long term impact. The difference is that Obama actually had some charisma and stage presence, unlike DeSaster, but we might be past the point where that even matters.
DeSantis has put together an army of paid shills on Twitter and Facebook to make and distribute "pro DeSantis memes" and they are truly awful and cringe.Yeah for all the shit Obama did no one can deny the man actually understood speaking and charisma and such. He could play along and talk and stand on his feet.
I doesn't help that DeSantis is getting pushed into emulating Trump which is only making his charisma problems worse. It was tolerable when he was the quiet nerd making careful prepared speeches that he wrote beforehand, but trying to push him into Trumpist fibs and body movements is making the issues so much worse.
For me I don't really see the federal government as that important for the long term, state and local elections/politics are going to matter a lot more going forward so at this point 90 percent of my reasoning behind wanting trump in again is that it'd be funny and make people MATI.I'll make it simpler and just say that like a lot of shit people have their own reasons for wanting Trump back in office and it varies widely depending on who you ask.
Expect it does matter because of Foreign relations which are completely falling apart right now. You need an administration that can at least pretend to competent. For me I don't really see the federal government as that important for the long term, state and local elections/politics are going to matter a lot more going forward so at this point 90 percent of my reasoning behind wanting trump in again is that it'd be funny and make people MATI.
Of course, biden winning again would also be really funny and dems will still suffer along with me while having the added humiliation of having to defend their venerated kid sniffing dementia patient taking L after L for 4 more years.
yeah don't get me wrong I'm not saying "oh lol nothing matters" but just more I think I can find a way to cope with whatever happens. I would vastly prefer trump winning but I'll find ways to cope if/when they fortify things again. Much of my perspective is very much "prepare for the worst" thinking.Expect it does matter because of Foreign relations which are completely falling apart right now. I think that in the end, the 2020's will go down in history as being just a really shitty decade, similar to how the 1970's is viewed. Shitty declining culture, collapsing economy, foreign policy failures, etc.I would vastly prefer trump winning but I'll find ways to cope if/when they fortify things again. Dude really is trying to pull a dan crenshaw but he's too much of a pussy bitch to even punch the wall improperly. It's fucking hillarious.DeSantis has put together an army of paid shills on Twitter and Facebook to make and distribute "pro DeSantis memes" and they are truly awful and cringe.
DeSantis has virtually no warmth, Charisma, or humanity. Everything about him is stiff, creepy, and maximum uncanny valley.
I don't think anyone has triggered my "this guy is secretly a robot/lizard person instinct since Mark Zuckerberg.
I don't think that would work. We're talking about the same racists who now have it as part of their foundational myth that the political parties swapped outright and they became shining beacons of morality and goodness who can never, by definition, be wrong about any topic.I think that in the end, the 2020's will go down in history as being just a really shitty decade, similar to how the 1970's is viewed. Shitty declining culture, collapsing economy, foreign policy failures, etc.
Since that is the case, I think I might prefer that the Democrats stay in the White House and that the Cultural Left stay in charge of mainstream culture. It will hurt us in the short term, but better to be able to blame the whole shitshow on them rather than give them the option to blame the failures on President Trump/DeSantis. Or maybe that is all just a huge cope on my part.
Well, fags better start buying low quality beer and shopping at Target then.
They don't ever let you talk long enough to catch them in a contradiction. As soon as you start saying things that deviate from the approved dialogue they either start demanding you disavow white supremacy and anti-semitism this instant, or, if you catch them unprepared while talking in person, they clam up and refuse to respond to anything anymore.Their religion has no real solid basis, they shift their positions on shit with the wind. The "party switch" is a perfect example of that, a insane fiction to try and claim a eternal hold on the Right Side Of History and right to rule.
Hell, ask when the "switch" happened and you can have a lot of fun just forcing these people to have their cake and eat it. Most of the time they insist it is Nixon, so you can go and say "oh FDR and JFK were Republicans then?" and they will start to kvetch and excuse.
It is amusing to see the mask slip and them reveal that they take your financial support for granted.
Ah yes, but bake the cake bigot and fuck Chick Fill A, right? Yadda yadda left double standards, but it never stops driving me up the wall. But it's another notch on the rules for radicals playbook of to remove their toys you have to use them against them.
