People keep getting pissed when I say it, but for all of the "Xbox has no games!" shit Sony fanboys like to pull, the PS5 is going to go down as being one of the worst systems as far as exclusives are concerned thanks to the 5+ year dev times they have standardized.
Either PS5 is going to have to be a 10+ year console cycle, or get ready to see a lot of game announced today show up on a PS6 in 5 years.
Will Peter Parker be more of a black trans, will Flash Thompson is more of an Asian woman, and will Venom be more of a Jewish-Mexican? Because Sony would've done something as retarded as this

Say what you will about PC, XBox and Nintendo gamers but at least those gamers know when to have fun and actually want to play a game instead of watching a interactive movie that is just blatant political propaganda. In every video that criticizes the Sony Showcase are Soyny fanboys coming out in droves calling the person a parasite, racist, sexist, transphobe, homophobe, and a bigot for not liking the current propaganda goyslop that Sony is putting out.
Think the Plucky Squire art style is disgusting Tumblr, corpro crap? Well you're a transphobe and homophobe as many LGBTQP+ people worked on that game. Don't like that all the playable characters are "stronk" black women and lesbians? Well you're a cis, white, straight piece of shit who needs to realize his time in the spotlight has come to an end and make way for people more underprivileged then him.
I am so glad that I switched to being a PC and Nintendo gamer. It is no wonder that the quality of Sony games have gone into decline. It is not just the freaks who work for Sony game studios fault but also their insane, cultlike fanbase who believe Sony can do no wrong and praise hamfisted political propaganda as fine art.

Gonna act as a bit as a devil's advocate here. They are correct, consoles are moving to the digital only area, because they saw how much power it gave Valve on the PC market, and now the consoles are finally getting the same treatment that PC gamers got years ago. Nowadays if you buy a PC game physically you don't even get a disk, just a Steam code activation, so it's just wasted money for the publisher. And back when you got a disk with your game, you couldn't install it without Steam so it was virtually useless.
As for the DRM and trackers argument, that was the case with PC gaming for years because of the aforementioned shift to digital only distribution and yes, it is an issue on PC's, but it has been an issue for years. Meanwhile modern consoles are so locked down you won't even care because you can't even jailbreak them and play pirated games on them. So it's also somewhat of a moot argument since it's been a case with PC's for years and with consoles it doesn't really matter.
If Remedy tried to be honest they'd say "disk manufacturing costs our publisher money so get fucked". And I'm not defending GaaS here, I'm just looking at this from the corporate greed side of things. It's hard to say if consumers in the US or the EU could manage to try and push for legislation that would kill off the GaaS business where publishers wouldn't be able to kill off video games just because.
A lot of countries nowadays recognize video games as work of culture, and I think it's time for a push for them to be treated with equal respect as paintings in museum. Video game preservation is very important, yet companies can destroy them as they please.

If you mean console exclusivity you are wrong. Sony brought it forever, there is no Xbox version. This came out in the Activision court case stuff.

Not sure what you mean. Just stating basic facts. Helldivers II is coming out on PC. FFXVI is only a timed exclusive. Its at the very least coming out on PC.

Nobody gives a fuck about PC when talking about exclusives. If its only console release is on Playstation (and it is, that was part of the deal of them funding its development) its a Playstation exclusive. There is no Xbox version, there's never going to be one, if we're lucky Square buys back the rights in a decade and rereleases it on whatever Nintendo is selling then.
Sometimes I use Steam if I'm not busy. But even then I just don't care for gaming in general these days.

Bullshit. PC gaming is here to stay has become a cornerstone of gaming. Its even growing in popularity in Japan, where it was historically nonexistent. It being on PC eventually makes it being on Playstation irrelevant for a large part of the gaming audience.
But for me, that's too little too late. Mainly because I've become more of a boomer and cannot give two shits about gaming.
