They were never trying to be 100% all of the time. It would be completely retarded to expect everyone to be entertained regardless of when they happened to tune in for 6 weeks straight. They kept the challenges coming. I'd say 80% of them were funny in a solid way, even if some of them were spun up on the spot or short lived... I feel like if you aren't impressed with how well they kept the ball spinning on this show, you're just incapable of understanding how logistics work for a production of this magnitude. Zero patience from the faggots constantly complaining about the "gen z crew" or whatever retard shit they bitched about.

This entire show was kino. like actually kino.

It was the most entertained I've been in 20 years.

It WILL live on well past most of us are dead.

Fuck the silly Billys, this show was great.

P.s. I didn't expect to be into this from the promo stuff, I like Sam and most of what he's been involved with but I was only slightly intrigued by the hype. But I happened to tune in on day one... And I've been on the ride since. I'm insanely impressed with what those guys pulled off.

I really hope season 2 doesn't suck.

I hope for season 2 they don't coddle contestants as much as they did with Josie. She won the final 3 days of challenges fair and square, i'll give her that, but she was truly rarely fucked with by the crew and I feel like if they did fuck with her as much as Letty or most of the other members, she wouldn't have made it to the finals. The crew truly gave her a lot of slack and passes over torture.

If Jet was right about the show costing $250k, they doubled that amount in season pass buyers alone. TTS price fluctuated a lot but I think if we just take the lowest price I recall seeing, $20, they made $885k from TTS. Fucking insane. Don't remember sound FX cost and fishtoys all varied in price but i'm sure that's a couple 10k's.

It was a fun experiment, didn't love everything the crew did but there was a lot of hilarious moments.

Highlights for me was Sylvia's seething, and Letty coming out on top against the odds time and time again.

I don't love everything about Sam but he consistently makes hilarious content more than anyone. (I even learnt to enjoy the Great War).

Maybe with a bit of experience it could be a much smoother ride, but the bumps were also part of the appeal.

This thread definitely made it much more enjoyable and easy to follow.

It was sort of surreal to see the producers interacting with the girls normally after the winner was announced. You could tell how fond of them they were. I'm more convinced than ever that whatever Jon said to Letty in the basement pissed them off too and that's why they fucked with him so hard the next night.

I really wanna find the clip of Fatty going on about the "Four F Club" so I can show @Lester Tasker the clip, and the one time I used TTS which caused both Fatty & Sam to laugh because I mentioned that Josie was hanging out in the kitchen wishing to be inducting in Fatty's Four F Club, where Sam even asked if Josie wanted to join the" 4 F Club ".

Sneedchat requested it. I was watching it because Vance was super insufferable on a twitter space tonight talking about how Letty going along with the villain role is immoral because she didn't have to do it (even though he would have broken Josie's sorry little neck if Sam had told him to, and would have driven Letty's glasses through her eye socket if he'd known Sam would show so much affection for her in the finale), and I wanted to feel a sense of K A R M A.

Some tidbits for you to look for since it is quite long:

• Jon getting himself a water and Vance reaching for it thinking it's for him and Jon wandering away.
• Vance almost collapsing backwards and dry heaving
• A TTS saying "Vance, it is alright to give in, let it all fade to black"
• TTS telling Vance to sling the weight at Josie and him moaning "FUCKING STOP"
• Vance begging Chris to cut it off and Chris giving up because he can't find the scissors.
• Josie yanking Vance forward and pulling the weight loose, and Vance almost puking into his shirt now that he can feel his foot again.

I think the TTS requesting for him to shout "Let's go" and him groaning it and then saying that if he shouts he will pass out is in here too, but I just tried to cut a nice slice of it and not the entire torture sequence.

Edit: And just to give credit where it belongs, remember that Letty went all the way to the garage to grab a weight and brought it all the way back up to B3 to tape it to Vance's leg, This just a day or two after Frank's second appearance, when Vance came to sleep in her room and claimed that having his clown puff shaved was just as bad as Letty having toilet water dumped on her three times and having multiple YouTubers pour condiments on and grind their shoes into her laundry, and that everything that happened to Letty was just karma.
So Letty accidentally nearly amputating his foot was just karma, too.
