The amount of time between Charls and Sam reuniting and them shooting WP2 is a little concerning. I have a hard time believing that they could bury the hatchet, then come up with sketch ideas, prep and begin shooting in this short amount of time. Hoping it turns out good but with Fishtank happening at the same time I'm skeptical.

I will be really surprised if a single episode comes out. Also bringing back WP2 is a big mistake - the first one was a product of its time and has not aged well at all in my opinion. I suspect they know this and are ultimately doing this to string along paypigs who are hoping to relive 2016 through another season of this show which tbh is a 6/10 show at best.

Yes, this thread has proven time and time again that Sam Hyde haters are some of the dumbest and most disingenuous retards on the internet. This is the Sam Hyde appreciation thread for MDE fans. The only reason why it seems so negative right now is because almost everyone migrated to the Fish Tank thread. WP2 is currently in production. The set designs look epic and huge. All the crew seem happy to be working together. It's going to be great. Fish Tank wrapped yesterday and it seems to have won over the people who were on the fence. Season 2 confirmed. Sam barely even tried during that production and still took a huge W.

Really bad day to be a Sam Hyde hater.

This was uncomfortable to watch live, but it's true. Constant fedposting on the paypig chat, the swatting and the goyper niglet screaming "IT WUZ KIWIFAWMZ!", the twitter retards thirsting for their 15mins of "fame" and the (most likely) DDoS at the end. He has every right to hate his fanbase at this point.

I hope WP2 has some "Ideas Man" vibes. This one was amazing.

This is retarded but does anyone have the PGL clip where Nick talks in an emo voice about falling in love with a Chinese happy ending massage therapist who describes his penis as being "like Superman." I found it on YouTube because I don't paypig for Sam. Anyone have it? If I recall correctly the clip was like 15-17 minutes long, only had that section at the very end.

Selling out means comprising your artistic vision for monetary gain. Sam never did that. In fact when he was told by Adult Swim executives he could keep World Peace on air if he disavowed his political views he refused.

There are different forms of selling out. Like cutting out people who have actual talent so that you can pursue your vision of grifting autists, or getting lazier and lazier in what you put out while coasting off your astroterfed notoriety. I've watched Sam's shit for over a decade and he's never been as boring as he's been in the last 2-3 years. Good timing, combined with good writing, good edits between sketches, actual comradere between the boys. That's MDE. Now it's just Sam flexing over and over again while simps lick his asshole repeatedly. It isn't even normie content it's retarded clown shit mixed with CEO culture. That's why he's brought in a bunch of autists to pad his flailing career and do SUPER WACKY AND RANDOM things to them. But there's no punchline. At best it's like frathouse shit and the funniest thing to happen on fishtank was a fat man falling down the stairs (comedy gold)

It's funny because it's self referential, self aware, breaks the forth wall, addresses his critics and fans, and acknowledges the MDE cannon - which he very rarely has ever done. It was also part of an extended bit he improvised live after spending all day on set for World Peace 2. If you don't think it's funny you have to admit it's impressive. It's an absolutely perfect example of the post-post-irony that made MDE and Sam relevant in the first place.

I think it means sincerity masked as irony, where you say something you actually mean, but in a way that makes it sounds like you must be joking.

Atleast that's how a lot of people see Sam's humor. I think it's probably true that he does that a lot, I just don't know where the line is with him and I think it's possible he's just as likely to say over the top things just for the hell of it sometimes.

It's a joke and an exaggeration but you can feel he tries to say something about racial tensions and white people losing patience and not wanting to be the anvil anymore.
(if you think he's right/wrong or deep/shallow about it then it's something else entirely. I am just talking about the subtext)
