Simple explanation of tweening (the name comes from "between" I believe)- Make a shape in key frame 1, in key frame 2, move shape to desired position. Flash will basically handle the transition be"tween" the two frames, giving the appearance of smooth movement. In this case they've just made a series of connected shapes in the form of the hideous bug, and 'tweened its various parts to make it look like it's dancing, with probably a premade background of theirs. Not difficult.
Exactly that. If you watch a Disney or other animated feature, the credits those artists on a particular character will list as "inbetweeners."

She came back because there is a new season of terraformers and now she can fap again with the idea of big and handsome cockroaches

wow Baum's probably doing barrelrolls in his grave.
Abuse? What? H.M Wogglebug was kind of annoying with puns and haughty about his education; he had a lot of the cutting remarks coming, but the most the others told him to do was to shut up with the godawful puns. Otherwise he's just the typical Baum character who is both kind and a dick at times.

The Wogglebug was never meant to take front and center stage. He was just another character that added to the narrative that drove home just how bizarre the Land of OZ really is. Just like the giant spider the Cowardly Lion kills to be made King of Beasts. Just like the princess with different heads in a wardrobe. Just like the queen of mice who is indebted to the Tin Man and repays that debt by having her people pull the Cowardly Lion out of the deadly field of poppies. Just like the motherfucking people made of fine china. If they all were allowed to have the spotlight for more than a page or a few paragraphs, the stories would become very long, boring, and too slice-of-life-ish with how the focus shifts to a different character. It'd be as if PK wrote it.

Oh boy this thread got revived! Wogglebug kinda reminds me of Cool Cat. Both are meant for kids but say really weird things and talk about super boring things, how many times can you listen about the "I met frogman one day" and "Bully's have no friends", they are also giant animals that the creator's use to live out their fantasy's. At least Cool Cat was funny though. I eagerly await Cynthia's reply's when she notice's the thread's active again.

As someone who is an Oz fan, I never had an issue with the Wogglebug. I actually thought he was fairly endearing, with his tendencies to appear intelligent and educated, but it becomes apparent that he is not all that intelligent. A bit dopey, but nice, and harmless.

And I like the way Skottie Young drew him in his Marvel Adaptation of the Oz books.

...Why anyone would obsess over such a auxiliary character from a children's book series though, is beyond me

I personally found the Scarecrow to be a much more engaging "brainy" character, to be frank.
