She also said there are 80 states that have enacted anti-trans laws.
I think that was supposed to be a count of the bills that became law, not the states. I'm always fascinated by panel shows where someone misspeaks and nobody helps them out. Make it less obvious that you zone out when other people are talking until it's your turn, jeez.

More of Zac on The View. There's some overlap with the clip posted previously.

Here's a lightly formatted OpenAI transcript of all the clips (overlaps removed).
Host: Did it shock you that here in America, where we're supposed to have the right to have conversations across talking, that the members would ban you from having this conversation with everyone who needs to hear it? Were you shocked by that?

Zac: For me, it was less about banning me from the ability to speak. What that means is that they took away 11,000 constituents who'd elected me. What the thing I think about is what's shocking is what are they willing to throw away to achieve their policy goals? Here it was the first principles of our country of elected representation.

Host: Representative, Republican lawmakers said that you were using "hateful rhetoric". When protesters showed up on the House floor in support of you, the right-wing Montana Freedom Caucus accused you of encouraging an insurrection. What was your reaction to that?

Host: The Montana Freedom Caucus is a group that in that letter, when they called for civility, they were also intentionally misgendering me. They were calling me a man. I think about the hypocrisy there, both in that letter and in policy goals. What does it mean to use decorum as a cudgel to silence opposition? What does it mean to use parental rights only for the rights of parents with cisgender kids and not transgender kids?

Host: I loved what you said, and I was in my living room cheering and applauding you, because it was just simply the truth. I wouldn't even say, you know, I'd say it was brave, but it was the truth. Now, the bill you were speaking out against, which was later signed into law by the governor, will ban gender-affirming care for minors in Montana, period. In addition, there are 18 other states that have enacted similar anti-trans laws. How in your view will these laws affect trans youth in your state, but also across the country?

Host: It's important to note at the start that the slate of trans health care begins with something as simple as social transition, allowing a therapist to use the right pronoun for a child, allowing someone to cut their hair short or grow it long, et cetera. And then it bans health care that is done slowly, carefully, in conjunction with parents, doctors, therapists, in accordance with every major medical association's guidelines.

And when you take that away, when you take the health care people need to live fulfilling lives, to have that pursuit of happiness, you create conditions where life becomes very difficult. And that's why we know that youth who have access to gender-affirming care have a 73% reduction in suicidality. But also in my state, we heard examples of one trans teen who attempted suicide while watching one of these hearings. And that's the impact when you take the health care away. It creates conditions where life becomes hard, and it's why we fight so hard to make sure that the people in our state and our country have access to this care they need.

Host: So Representative, I want to ask you a little bit about the corporations who have come under fire for their lack of support of the LGBTQ plus community, Target. We were recently talking about them when the news that they removed some merchandise celebrating Pride Month from some of their stores after social media backlash from conservatives and after some of their employees were put in some, were being threatened. What's your reaction to that?

Zac: So when the bills come before the legislature, they always get talked about as if they're very narrowly focused. This is just about sports. This is just about youth. This is just about a book. But what we see in moments like this is the people who support anti-trans legislation, anti-LGBTQ legislation aren't just after that.

They don't want to see LGBTQ people happy or thriving in stores, in our communities, and will get very angry at the sight of us on a Sports Illustrated issue. And to me, if you're a corporation and you're seeing a sliver of what it's like for LGBTQ people who can't decide to take our identities off the shelf, it's why it's more important now than ever to make sure you are standing up alongside us throughout this.

Host: Be a good corporate citizen. It's not that hard.

Has Erin Reed said anything about the latest happenings on Twatter? Last night, Elon Musk not only promoted the documentary "What is A Woman?" to his millions of followers, but he also announced that he will be lobbying to criminalize trooning out children. I can imagine that Erin (and other troon lolcows) will be screaming about this, especially since it's happening during pride month.

For some reason, Twitter isn't loading for me this morning, I keep getting error messages and nothing loads.

They will all bitch about him and tell him that he’s going to get the children murdered. They will dunk on him because hurhur that’s why your “daughter” doesn’t talk to you. They will all be absolutely outraged that he waited until pride month to promote Matt Walsh. They’ll do it all, except log off that murdering bigots website.

And they’ll frame it like they’re staying on Twitter for the kids. You know, to fight back. I can’t wait to see the seething.

Has Erin Reed said anything about the latest happenings on Twatter?
He's flipped from "Matt Walsh is too transphobic even for Elon Musk" to "Elon Musk has made it his life's mission to murder trans children".

Elon Musk is actively calling for imprisoning healthcare professionals and therapists for providing care to trans youth that has been proven to lower their suicide rates by 73%.
He also has declared he will lobby against their care politically.
Every dime you give him hurts us.

Teslas, SpaceX, deals for underground tunnels, advertising dollars on this platform - it’s going to be funneled into harming trans kids.
If you are an advertiser on this platform, you better not ever claim you support the lgbtq community when your dollars go directly to harm.

Here are the summary findings from a study on Louisiana Medicaid recipients, put together by Louisiana, a red state I might add:
"zero surgeries on minors"
"puberty blockers/HRT improved mental health, suicidal ideation"
"regret rate <1%"

The Swedish Study that Elon, and this person here, is citing, compared transgender people to the general population, not transgender people who couldn't get care to those who could.
It also used decades old data from the AIDS crisis and 80s, when med discrimination was VERY high

Erin Reed (@ErinInTheMorn) · Jun 2, 2023 · 3:11 PM UTC
Cecilia Dhejne, lead researcher on this study, has herself refuted this misinterpretation:
“The conclusion that cross-sex hormone treatment increases suicide rate is completely wrong,” Dhejne (the author of the study)

Last night he was crowing about being a "top-50" blog on Substack:

Its official. Erin In The Morning, a publication focused on legislation and life for LGBTQ+ people and all of the laws moving around the United States targeting trans people, is now a top 50 publication on Substack.
I'm 2 behind Mike Huckabee - you're next, dude!

For those of you who want to support my work and writing for Pride month, please consider tossing me a subscription so we can take Huckabee down.

It has been an honor to write for all of you through all the ups and downs of this year's legislative cycle.
I truly believe that these laws will fall and trans people will see better days in legislatures, in courts, and in our communities.
I'll keep writing along the way.
"Substack's premier source of disinformation on transgenderism!"

And no mention of the fact all they did to "censor" him was make him obey the same parliamentary rules all the non-troons have to obey in a state House. If he wanted to be a disruptive faggot he should have run for state Senate instead. But then he'd have to win a statewide election, and that isn't in the cards for this demented loon.

As if the slogan of the trans movement hasn't been (in fact still is) "No debate"! Or that saying that people can't change sex is as bad as anti-semitism :story:

Anyway, polycule member Dylan / Eva Herrada, the son of senior Commodity Futures Trading Commission official Jorge Herrada, is now happy he has a convenient way to test if his fentanyl or heroin has been cut with horse tranquiliser:

He's going to Bluesky as soon as it's public and supports video! For real!!1

He was going to go to Bluesky, he was going to go Substack Notes, he was goona go here, he was gonna go there, now he is going to go to Instagram. Any place where the echo chamber is uninterrupted and his delusions go unchallenged.

No matter where he goes, he will always be on the wrong side of history.

…as well as claimed that medical transition is done "slowly, carefully"…
But Zac, isn’t that precisely what your brand of trans activism has been actively fighting against this whole time? I could have sworn that any waiting and deliberation on the part of medical providers was considered literal genocide.

Touché. These assholes just really get to me at times. Being as disingenuous as they are, regarding all of the "science" behind this crap, and they fact that you can tell this homo is trying to pinkpill/groom others with lies, like Keffals. It's just super gross.
Sometimes it's good to step off the farms or just off a thread for a bit. Get away from things that bring you negativity or make you angry. In the end, Erin Reed maybe has 5 years in the major spotlight left in him and he's flailing around screaming the sky will fall any minute. He's only twitter popular and a sideshow on news entertainment, and he begs for MSN to have him on (literally earlier in the thread) to which they ignore.

It feels rough now, but stepping back helps ease it.

Based: Louisiana pediatric transition ban is back on the cards. Tony says it’s “profoundly undemocratic” to have the full state senate vote on the bill.

Legislative researcher that doesn't know all legislatures sit as a committee of the whole and that all committees are empowered only by the entire body is my fetish.
