I also found it a bit odd that they kept referring to his weapon as a "gun" and not an assault rifle. As of yesterday, braced pistols were federally classified as short barreled rifles that are heavily regulated under the national firearms act (and almost certainly illegal in Chicago.) The fact that they went with "gun" instead of "super deadly child killer-15" really makes me wonder why they are using such soft language for this guy, especially considering the nazi stuff. Is the Ukraine flag enough to keep the media from burying him? Maybe we should change our background image.

Your analogy is almost there, but the thing with the Good Samaritan is that he chose to rescue the man by the side of the road. What we have now is if the Samaritan had a brain parasite that forced him to help others, even while his family starves. What is more, the people we've been forced to help have grown increasingly shitty with every war. The South Koreans were at least able to build a functioning government and society. South Vietnam was a shit show that was completely unable to retain the loyalty of it's populace. The Afghan government was even worse. In Iraq, the army we spent a fortune training and equipping collapsed at the sight of some guys with small arms and pickup trucks, and the main reason the place isn't ruled by ISIS now is because the IRGC setup a bunch of Shia and Christian militias that actually cared enough to stand their ground and fight. The threads going back to the start of the Russian intervention have detailed the moral and practical failings of the Banderite government in Ukraine, so I won't belabor the point beyond saying I aggressively dislike it.
While all this is going on, the US is becoming a shambles. I used border security in my other post, because the attitude towards foreign borders vs US borders is topical. However, the border is only one of many problems. By almost any metric you look at, the country is getting worse, and the cause is the same. The US government is not interested in advancing US national interests, and is actively ignoring multiple attempts at reform via elections. I am not ok with running a global empire, especially one who's only discernible goals seem to be the enrichment of a hostile ruling class and the promotion of sexual deviancy in every corner of the globe. It was sold to us during the Cold War as defending freedom and democracy, but a close examination of it's behavior shows that to be lies. You seem fond of biblical allusions, so I'll end on one. By their fruits shall you know them, and the fruits of modern America grow more rotten with every passing year.

I think they'll downplay the Ukraine thing. What I'm more interested in is what exactly gun it is. It has the general outline of an Uzi, but with a front vertical grip, a side charging handle, and KelTec styling. Could be some kind of airgun too.

It looks like an uzi with a mall ninja parts kit on it. Uzis were really popular in CA before they went hard anti-gun so there's a ton of them floating around from people that held out. That barrel looks a little funky though. The way it comes to a point in that photo makes it look like an airsoft gun. I just noticed he put a foregrip on it too so I think it's technically a destructive device and not a short barreled rifle.

It just means its been funded through 2024. The MIC gets paid no matter what. If Ukraine collapses or the situation is altered, the shit still gets produced, it just gets to sit in a warehouse somewhere until the next proxy war where we claim its a 'surplus'.

apparently UK is going more and more retarded (harder and faster than usual at least). might be some dumbfuck delayed post-post empire behavior and/or the usual desperate try to distract their population and keep their national issues out of the news for another week.
what's obvious tho is that it won't get better anytime soon since UK got the same problem lot of other western countries have: there isn't an alternative politician around that isn't retarded - and the ones that aren't know better than to get into power now when it would mean lot of unpopular policies to turn things around (if they went into politics in the first place).
much more lucrative and feasible to let degrade things further and be celebrated a savior when people ask for one, than tell people what they need to hear and hope they'll react accordingly...
