reddit General

Also nobody can agree on the actual protest - some are doing 2 days, some are doing "indefinitely", and others are starting with 2 as a threat, like this drama guy below. No coordination whatsoever.
If they somehow made it about troons being hindered in molesting children, reddit would probably cave in.

I wish the OP of the france thread would have linked to some examples to make a much better case, but I really would have 0 surprise if this were true. That said, it could also be karma farmers for all we know, aging up accounts for advertising in those languages. It's hard to definitively tie it to anyone.
Yeah I'd like to see the messages the admins sent, or examples of bots talking to each other through bootleg google translate.

I only know French and I checked the Francafrique subs to see if anything was going on and it seems normal. Weird amount of fat white women asking /r/Cameroon about things they can do for their boyfriend, like usual.

Got some stuff! Most of it is from /antiwork but since that thread is on page 3 and hasn't been touched since April, I'll share it here:

I don't know why anyone would elevate this person as a good example. The text in the video, for those who can't read it, is 'I haven't taken my medications today':

behold antiwork.jpg

And their idea of fighting consumerism is getting high and browsing reddit:

consoom drugs and read reddit to defeat the capitalists.jpg

I'm convinced that the subreddit is, in part, a place for powerful sadists to get supply off people whining about how hard they're getting screwed. Examples:

cultivating despair example.jpg

cultivating despair example 2.jpg

Because it's certainly not a place for action. They have a baffling rule where you can support policy, but not politicians. Want an increase in the minimum wage? You can whine for it to happen, but don't you dare support a politician who say they will make it happen:

double unthink.jpg

Otherwise, you can farm upvotes by putting a piece of paper on a drive through window "WE QUIT BECAUSE CAPITALISM BAD":

get 24k upvotes with a piece of paper and a lie.jpg

Or talk about how spreading your asshole on the Internet is the same thing as working in a warehouse (What sadist wouldn't want to 'normalize' people sexually humiliating themselves for money?):

having sex is the same as moving a box.jpg

This woman needs botox and no one in the thread was talking about it:

needs botox.jpg

This redditor learned what a lot of people have: that the economy is, at best, going through stagflation and fewer people are doing well while many more are getting poorer everyday:

redditor discovers the scam, gets akshuallyd back asleep.jpg

Thankfully some dumbass was there to say 'akshually, the authorities say that our grain harvest was the biggest on record wages have gone up!' Which strikes me as a lie at a time when there are hundreds of thousands of layoffs in traditionally high-paying sectors:

redditor discovers the scam, gets akshuallyd back asleep2.jpg

Hot girls humblewhine about how nobody cares if they're even capable of performing their well-paying jobs:

shot chaser 1.jpg

shot chaser 2.jpg

Mid girl discovers her work doesn't care if she even has a desk:

sit on the curb.jpg

Guy with zero ambition complains about how employers expect him to pretend like he gives a shit about the things they're paying him money to do:

minimum wagelife.jpg

And a bitchmade video game store manager gets tricked by his employees to closing the store because of Covid hysteria. Then while they're all sitting home collecting unemployment, his boss makes him go to the empty store every other day to act as a human scarecrow:

Reddit has ensured every subreddit has the same sjw faggot moderators to continue demoralizing people and even put it in the most based subreddits that haven't been banned yet. That's why there is very little use for reddit for me anymore. Now I'm trying to connect with support groups but so many people are demoralized and I would be defamed for suggesting their government is the reason they're suffering like me.

Reguardless of your thoughts on the holocaust, I believe there is a difference between shoving people in camps and using them for hard labor vs telling trannies you'll be fined if you go in the wrong restroom.
"nazis made you sniff gas and me use the wrong toilet, we're totally brothers persons in spirit!"

it's the same delusion where people go pickachu that their middle-east refugee-pets aren't fan of the alphabet-soup shit, even tho they're both "marginalized minorities"

Really interesting if ipo rumors are true. Boone would ipo right now if they had a choice. The only reason you would ipo would be if you needed money, since you can't raise money normally. This mean reddit is facing serious financial issues in the near future.

Yeah, just ask a Muslim their opinions on women lol. Bet they don't let their kids play any form of pokemon or even own a switch.

I remember reading that most of Reddit's users only use Reddit as a news aggregator and do not post, comment or even view comments, use awards etc. Now imagine how much of the rest of the users who actually engage with the community at large buy awards or a premium account when you can just use addons to achieve the same functionality (and I assume those who actually willingly engage in discussion on Reddit do).
I don't think Reddit is possible to properly monetize, but unlike Twitter, it also can't really be used for astroturfing shit and propaganda purposes...

but the backlash at least had a part in getting that Chink Ellen Pao fired, so that was a plus.
Seeing that spez didn't undo any of her changes, it really does make me think she was brought in just to make them, absorb the hate, and then make it so the users would welcome spez back with open arms like daddy coming home with the milk.

That's why they picked a ching-chong cunt, so they could then roll out the unpopular changes while moaning about "muh horsemint" and "muh racism" and "muh sexism."

Have you never been around reddit on an election year? Watching /r/Politics and every mainstream sub switch from Bernie/Warren to Clinton and Biden on a dime is very telling. 2016 they weren't even trying to be subtle about it, directly linking to shareblue articles, a since renamed, democrat superpac. Also if you want to see how propagandized the average redditor is, try telling them even today that Rittenhouse didn't shoot 3 unarmed black men and see how that goes.
Reddit is far easier to astroturf than twitter

Also, some live janny leaks from the "protest" discord about the ongoing reddit talk via rdrama

I struggle to find any reason why reddit has a subreddit based on conspiracy theories if they're just gonna sweep away any posts suggesting Hitler didn't fart on the Jews and they give hefty bans for the information itself.
Banned from Conspiracy.png

Even the people there are considering their freedoms of questioning things as selfish (I can't stand these people). Talk about hopeless slavery. What do they actually use this sub for?

they have the sub because they want to keep people talking about wacky retard nonsense like flat earth, reptilians, ancient aliens, UFOs, etc.
the more people waste their time and attention on this clown shit that will never amount to anything, the better for the people in power, because that means that they aren't looking into the kind of 'conspiracy theories' that actually make the ruling class nervous.
