Got some stuff! Most of it is from /antiwork but since that thread is on page 3 and hasn't been touched since April, I'll share it here:
I don't know why anyone would elevate this person as a good example. The text in the video, for those who can't read it, is 'I haven't taken my medications today':
And their idea of fighting consumerism is getting high and browsing reddit:
I'm convinced that the subreddit is, in part, a place for powerful sadists to get supply off people whining about how hard they're getting screwed. Examples:
Because it's certainly not a place for action. They have a baffling rule where you can support policy, but not politicians. Want an increase in the minimum wage? You can whine for it to happen, but don't you dare support a politician who say they will make it happen:
Otherwise, you can farm upvotes by putting a piece of paper on a drive through window "WE QUIT BECAUSE CAPITALISM BAD":
Or talk about how spreading your asshole on the Internet is the same thing as working in a warehouse (What sadist wouldn't want to 'normalize' people sexually humiliating themselves for money?):
This woman needs botox and no one in the thread was talking about it:
This redditor learned what a lot of people have: that the economy is, at best, going through stagflation and fewer people are doing well while many more are getting poorer everyday:
Thankfully some dumbass was there to say 'akshually, the authorities say that our
grain harvest was the biggest on record wages have gone up!' Which strikes me as a lie at a time when there are hundreds of thousands of layoffs in traditionally high-paying sectors:
Hot girls humblewhine about how nobody cares if they're even capable of performing their well-paying jobs:
Mid girl discovers her work doesn't care if she even has a desk:
Guy with zero ambition complains about how employers expect him to pretend like he gives a shit about the things they're paying him money to do:
And a bitchmade video game store manager gets tricked by his employees to closing the store because of Covid hysteria. Then while they're all sitting home collecting unemployment, his boss makes him go to the empty store every other day to act as a human scarecrow:
