The arena was almost empty. It had started with a ban on ticket sales to anyone named 'Sam,' or some variant. But it moved forward, paranoia gripping the organizers. Then you had to submit photo ID with your purchase, and provide your social media accounts so they could be checked for 'problematic' likes and retweets. You also had to provide financial proof that you had been subscribed to an Onlyfans account for at least three month prior to the announcement. There would only be a wholesome, sex-positive audience in attendance.
The matches were lackluster, as always, evoking tepid applause and hesitant commentary. The announcers stressed how positive the atmosphere was in the mostly empty arena, but it was obviously forced.
Finally, the main event. Ian walked to the ring with no accompanying fanfare. The crowd silent as eyes fixed on the shotgun cradled in his arms, awkwardly adjusted with gloved hands. The quiet of the arena allowed the almost silent, stoic footfalls to reverberate with deadening volume. This time, he would regain his manhood. There was no one here to bully him, or make him feel insecure. His opponent: a geriatric paraplegic . And anyone who questioned the match-up was summarily excluded.
Thirty-seven seconds into the match, and it was over. Ian lay, his back against the rough surface of the ring, the referees count still echoing in his ears. It was over, and he had lost. Again. A lone audience member applauds, but they are silenced, and removed from the venue.
Anisa runs out to the ring, a manic light in her eyes, her breathing heavy in a way that had nothing to do with physical exertion. She climbed into the ring and confronted the referee.
"Count him again." she whispered.
The officiant was confused, but began to comply. As the numbers slowly droned upward, Anisa moaned, unable to contain her excitement. She dropped to her knees and frantically unfastened the referee's belt, the unexpected contact causing the count to stumble.
"Don't ruin it for me."
As "Ten" echoed out a second time, Ian finally stirred, pushing himself to crawl to his corner. He untied a glove with his teeth, freeing his hand to retrieve the object of his deliverance from the corner. He never made it back to his feet, crawling back to the center of the ring and facing his wife fellating the referee. He shifted to his knees and placed the barrel in his mouth, eyes empty pools, fingers stretching for salvation.

The arena turned thier collective eyes to the rafters, tot he sight of Sam Hyde rappelling down into the ring. He dropped from a height than seemed a little too much, his legs, toned from squatting, absorbing the shock of impact. Finally the arena was full of noise. Cheers, boos, applause, confusion; the tumultuous mix of people confronted with the unexpected.
He was not an impressive cut of a man, but in the center stage of this spectacle, he glistened like a god. Anisa, eyes glazed with lust, scurried to the new arrival and began pawing at his crotch. But Sam's eyes never left Ian.
"It doesn't have to be this way. Come, squatting with me and be born anew. Cast this aside and rise like a content pheonix!"
