What fashion trends do you think suck?

I absolutely love love love wearing strappy leather sandals. Love them so much I wear them year round unless there's snow. They're amazingly elegant and work great with toe rings & anklets, and are great for showing off colorful nail polish. Obviously that aspect does not apply to men lol, unless they're fags (there's a stoner guy in my town who wears toe nail polish in the summer and it looks disturbing)

I got a pair like this and it's super comfortable and super cute.

Keeping it clean is easy, I wipe down the insides of the straps and the insoles every time after wearing. Easier to maintain than closed shoes imo.

Of course I can't speak for Indians and Pakis as they aren't known to be big into cleanliness.
I loved wearing sandals as a kid. For some reason I really hated shoes (probably didn't fit properly)
Id love to get back into sandal now but my feet are hideous.
In other words - this post made me wanna troon out (but only my feet).

I might get crucified for saying this but I hate flipflops/slidders.
They are just as bad as Croc's and I don't know why people wear them to the pub/high street etc. Fine for beaches/garden - but they look ridiculous everywhere else.

One thing that really bothers me is people that mix smart wear with casual wear.
A young friend of mine had a selfie for his dating profile with a shirt and tie and leather jacket.
Another friend of mine (30 odd) buys really nice clothes, but he will wear somwhat formal shoes/trousers with a patterned/branded tshirt. It looks really terrible to me.

Chipped nail polish and ripped trouser.

You might as well button your shirt to the wrong buttonholes, wear one sock inside out too, and call that fashion.

I'm sure ripped trousers can work well for those that don't skip out on leg days because it emphasizes how buff their legs are, but if you're a scrawny college kid you end up looking you get mauled by dogs.

Sandals are for when it's roughly the same climate as the inside of Satan's colon outside and you need as much exposed skin as possible to avoid overheating.

Mine broke recently :(
But sometimes exposing your skin to the blistering hot sun is even more uncomfortable than being clothed. Loose, thin, and breezy clothes are most comfortable for the summertime. Protects your skin from getting cooked, but doesn't bake you either.

I like sandals. I hated wearing shoes as a kid too, mostly because I had to find socks that matched and then I had to tie the shoes. It was like an eleventy-hundred step process whereas sandals were just, step one: slide on sandals. Done.

I don't like sandals with a ton of straps, though. At that point it's just convoluted and annoying. The cheap-ass foam flip flops from the dollar store suck too, they barely last even a day and they don't support your feet. Good sandals that have at least a minimal amount of arch support and last a few years are legit.

I love sandals but hate flip-flops. They look trashy and offer no support at all. It's impossible to walk comfortably when you always have to be careful not to lose your shoe.

Most of my shoes are open, but all of them have some sort of back support. Flip-flops, slides, mules, clogs... I just can't. I don't understand how those are comfortable.

Speaking of, anyone else remember wearing cheap flip-flops as a kid and "accidentally" losing them while at the top of one of these things?

One of the best parts of the fair, feeling the breeze in your toes~

In my country amusement fairs require you to take off your shoes if they don't have a solid fit. Even loose-fitting sneakers have to be taken off before you can ride. Safety measure.
lol bummer. I'm sure the bigger places here, like state fairs or dedicated amusement parks, probably have the same rules. Fortunately there's no shortage of cheap shitty fairs/carnivals popping up where you could openly smoke crack on the ride and nobody'd GAF so long as you shared with the ride operator.

... I'm the opposite. I hate feeling my toes being imprisoned.

I know, aesthetically, that toe-shoes are ugly as sin, but they're comfortable.
I was wearing New Balance when it was considered uncool. Wear those toe shoes whenever possible if they make you happy. Comfort > What random passerbys think.

I like sandals and shoes without laces. Easier to put and take off. I do not like high heel shoes as I feel them uncomfortable after a while and I am kinda tall already.

There is also those new loose crop tops that are shorter in the front just 3 fingers under your bra that are easily lifted with movement or a slight breeze. If I wanted to show my navel I had rather wear a sports bra.

But the trend that I find really fugly around here is the hoe/Anisa tattoo look with Takeshi69 face and everything even with women. It is getting popular and you are already seeing a lot of parlours sprout out from nowhere just like the barber shops before covid.

I do not like tattoos and I do not have one, but I respect those that like them as long as they behave properly in society.
