Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Edit 2:
In case anyone was wondering about the abysmal performance of Ukraine's tank crews, just look at who was training them. A FUCKING LEAF
And a woman too, LMAOOOOOO! (no, women should not be part of frontline combat, fuck you if you believe different, only a dying society sends its women to war, you can't change my mind)

Edit: More footage. Another wave of defenseless Ukrainian infantry being forced to march into Russian fire. They didn't even make it halfway. This is just a senseless loss of life, all thanks to America as usual.

Just a reminder to Ukrainian forces and their mutt commanders, a "clump" is not a proper tactical formation.

Good god, sending exposed and unsupported units directly across open terrain without cover when you know the enemy is waiting for you - what kind of reckless idiocy is this? I don't know if this is a bigger indictment of the Ukrainians or their Western trainers, because even the U.S. Army in the fucking 1970's knew that you should never fucking do this. (Timestamped YouTube link)
All the wonder weapons in the world won't matter a damn if you don't know how to properly employ them.
NAFO will squwak that the armor tech is 40 years old so it's no big deal.
While people whose jobs are to actually know these things will freak out, as the composite armor is still supposed to be a vital secret for both the UK and US. It's why the US only sent heavily downgraded Abrams tanks to Ukraine (or will send them...maybe. Hell at this rate they may never get there,)

There's some chatter that Americans cut their support to spite the Brits. Allegedly Brits are running the show now with no intel, no Global Hawks flying around, no HIMARS strikes on important targets, just waves of infantry and armor running blindly into artillery and landmines, and the occasional Storm Shadow strike on an abandoned warehouse.

I love this, the CBC had to find the single woman to interview. On top of that they had to find someone who was probably 12 the last time a Canadian Leopard ever fired a single round in combat. For those of you who don't know the Canadian combat mission ended in 2009. This training fuckup has layers to it...a nation that hasn't shot at a tank since Kosovo...maybe. Is training ukie conscripts, in tactics from the 70's. Taught by people who most likely never even saw combat in Afghanistan.

No wonder they aren't doing well.

Do you think the US government is starting to regret not taking the Russian peace offer?

Don't know what their endgame is, but at that point it would be too sudden for the US to withdraw from Ukraine. They need some more time to get the public prepared, elections are coming up so they can't shock the plebs too much. Although who knows anymore, Biden admin is getting desperate.

I'll have you know that this is still more incompetent for even us brits to be behind. More likely the poles. Nothing gets a slavic Irredentist off more so than the thought of other slavs mindlessly killing other slavs.

I'm skeptical this is the case, but I also never saw the US collapse and pathetic retreat from Afghanistan coming, either. Meaning, I guess I'm still skeptical but a bit less than I would have been a few years ago.

The main reason for my skepticism is that while I'm honestly not sure how many tens of billions of dollars has already been poured into Ukraiane, my nigga John Mearshimer opined in some video or other that around 80% of the funds spent for the defense of Ukraine are American. Too big a loss of face to walk away from for the current administration. There's also the fact that I'm guessing a majority of Americans -- of all political leanings -- in fact continue to support intervention in Ukraine, so there's no political pressure, at least presently, to re-think things.

Sorry I didn't mean to start a big discussion.
My brother in Christ you broke the rules of containment to post intentionally inflammatory content with the few shreds of rationale having been thoroughly disproven earlier in the thread

Not just a leaf, a snowflake leafalina

yeah, you can maybe consult the Canuckistans on things they are good at, like if you can get that world record sniper guy, but everything else has been learned from a textbook..

My perspective is that the ONLY reason why people somewhat support the war in Ukrain is because tptb and msm is pulling overtime to hide how badly the US is losing and how much it spent.

Could be. The American lugenpresse is by and large very reluctant to criticize Democrats; might be interesting to hypothesize what they'd be saying if a Trump administration had acted identically to the Biden Administration WRT this conflict. (And I think there's a distinct possibility the response would have been quite similar, as painful an admission to make as I find that.)

Having said that, I'm not sure how much convincing the American public truly needs to call Ukraine in the right and Russia in the wrong. More a gut reaction, I'd have to think about why that's my sense of the matters. Maybe it goes back to the cold war, dunno.

I disagree; we have primaries and a Presidential election coming up and we already have candidates making this an issue, and some are clearly stating they'd cut, or severely reduce, any funds/support to Ukraine. The establishment candidates are clearly going all out for the Saloreich.

This is all talk for the plebes, since we all know discretionary/black budget funds are always available, but there are some who have began to notice there is very little support amongst the electorate for this bullshit.

Eh, I have genuine doubt that we will get a non agent Republican in the US again. Unless it is an agreed on McCain rhino who is in on the Agenda and in lockstep with globohomo, mail in ballots will go brrrrrrrrrr. The US is as democratic as the Russky Myr at this point, just aren't as honest about it.

But in a Trump situation, the MSM would sing the Internationale and run big ops on how traitor Trumpler supports Azov and is really Orange Hitler, while Russia, I mean Glorious CCCP has liberated Kiev on day one, and sending tanks to the Ukraine is CO2 gas guzzling war crime and 6 gorillion ecocaust. Vietnam 2.0

The boss of the "ultra nationalist right wing conservative" German party AFD Alice Weidel with her lesbian live-in partner from Sri Lanka:

Super cute!
Alice Weidel is just a regular lesbian who dates a woman because she likes women. She's not globohomo and I've never seen her pushing US style LGBTQIWTFBBQ politics on kids or anyone else. The Right has almost always been a better pathway to success for women who want to succeed on merit rather than trading on their sex. People like Alice Weidel or Ana Brnabić (Serbian PM and lesbian) are almost the opposite of Globohomo because their attitude is that their sexual orientation isn't their identity.

And it's a tangent but I more and more come to the view that even though gay men and lesbians get clumped together under the "same sex attraction category" they're really quite different things. Probably because of basic biological sexual inclinations. I don't see hordes of women cross-dressing in schools or a lesbian choir singing about "coming for your children." or prancing around at Pride parades in dog masks and leather thongs. I mean, there are a few 'lesbians' that do weird stuff but they mostly turn out to be straight 'queer' women.

I honestly now think if there were only lesbians and not also gay men, the gay rights movement would have been accepted and a non-issue forever ago.

Weird how German's keep naming their tanks after big cats given their long history of fail.
Military tradition is cool and all (most of their equipment has been named after mammals, lizards and insects since WW2) but they're quickly running out of intimidating felines. Rheinmetall's Kodkod will be so kawaii.
