Good god, sending exposed and unsupported units directly across open terrain without cover when you
know the enemy is waiting for you - what kind of reckless idiocy is this? I don't know if this is a bigger indictment of the Ukrainians or their Western trainers, because even the U.S. Army in the fucking 1970's knew that you should

All the wonder weapons in the world won't matter a damn if you don't know how to properly employ them.
While people whose jobs are to actually know these things will freak out, as the composite armor is still supposed to be a vital secret for both the UK and US. It's why the US only sent heavily downgraded Abrams tanks to Ukraine (or will send them...maybe. Hell at this rate they may never get there,)
